a series of three classes
designed to help attendees
gain the skills to estimate
the amount of money they
need to retire and learn
about various ways to save
for retirement, the basics of
investing and retirement in-
come planning. Classes will
begin Oct. 17 from 5:30
to 7 p.m. at the Pettyjohn
building, 430 W Linden
Way, Heppner. The class
series will be held on three
consecutive Tuesdays. Oct.
17 will cover investment
basics, Oct. 24, retirement
basics and Oct. 31, retire-
ment income planning.
The instructor is Rita
Van Schoiack, a financial
advisor who specializes in
retirement planning and
investing for retirement.
The classes are free
and include a workbook.
