to our farm Friday night
August Eleventh.
After dialing 911 and call-
ing, just about everyone we
could think of, social me-
dia was the best method of
getting the word out. The
huge show of support was
exactly what was needed.

farmers and their pumper
rigs, water tenders, busi-
ness owners and a couple
of school teachers looked
like an army that would
not stand down and put the
fire down they did.
Unfortunately, the Jim far-
ley Barn was not able to
be saved, which has been
a landmark in the area
for decades. The fire was
stopped pretty much at our
property line with very lit-
tle stubble burned.

munity of 3 little towns
pulling together when
needed is awesome.
