Sheriff’s Report
April 7: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office was
advised that Hermiston PD
arrested Joel Chris Sousa,
49, on an Irrigon Justice
court warrant for Failure to
Appear on Driving Under
the Influence.
-An RP in Heppner
advised that juveniles near
the elementary school were
climbing on trees and be-
ing dangerous. MCSO re-
sponded and made contact
with the juveniles.
-An RP in Heppner
reported that someone was
spray painting his garage. A
deputy made contact with
the subject and he was ad-
vised of his options.
-MCSO was advised
that Pendleton PD arrested
Cesar Macias Delatorre,
20, on a Morrow County
Parole and Probation deten-
tion warrant for failure to
report. Subject was lodged
with no bail.
-An RP in Irrigon re-
ported that their 16-year-old
grandson was last seen that
morning, and said he was
going to Coeur d’Alene for
a track meet. However, the
coach said he had not been
with them all day. The ju-
venile had been Facebook
texting with friends, some-
thing about going to see a
movie or bowling. The RP
requested contact.
-An RP requested con-
tact made with her mother
in Heppner. She advised
she hadn’t been able to get
ahold of her for two weeks.
MCSO conducted a welfare
check.
-Irrigon ambulance re-
sponded to a motor vehicle
accident on Hwy. 730. A
female was run off the road
and hit her chest on the
steering wheel. Subject
was transported to Good
Shepherd Medical Center.
April 8: -An RP ad-
vised Morrow County
Sheriff’s Office that she
has moved out of Irrigon
a month and a half before
and the person who lived
at the location now went
through her cars and took
some things out of them,
and also smashed her Jetta
with a sledge hammer. The
RP advised there were five
cars still out there.
-MCSO was advised of
money lost in Heppner, pos-
sibly near Happner Market
Fresh.
-MCSO received report
of a tailgate stolen out of
Ione. RP reported that it
had a mark on it, a corner
where it was turned up at a
45-degree angle.
-MCSO received report
of a violation of a restrain-
ing order in Irrigon.
