will come from a grant, the
Park District has sought
quotes for this project and
has determined that Gran-
ite Construction Company,
a high preforming paving
company and this project
could qualify for a com-
petitive bid exemption, as
this project and contractor
meet the following criteria:
1) the lack of bids will not

PROJECT” project will be
received by the Morrow
County Public Works De-
partment, 365 West High-

until 5:00 p.m. local time
on June 23, 2017. The bids
will be publicly opened and
read at the Morrow County
Public Works Department,
365 West Highway 74,
Lexington, Oregon, at 9:00
a.m. local time on June 26,
2017. First Tier Subcon-
tractor Disclosure Forms
will be accepted until 1:00
p.m. on date of the bid
opening.
The County may reject
any bid not in compliance
with all prescribed public
bidding procedures and
requirements, and may
reject for good cause any
or all bids upon a finding
of the County that it is in
the public interest to do so.

The County will award the
contract within seven (7)
calendar days of the bid
opening. Work will com-
mence within five (5) cal-
endar days of the notice to
proceed. The contractor
shall complete all work
required in the contract
within sixty (60) calendar
days of the stated date in
the notice to proceed.

required to have an asbes-
tos abatement license un-
