Morrow County Requests
Bids on Roofing Repairs
for Three Buildings Lo-
cated in North and South
Morrow County.
Morrow County is request-
ing bids for three county
buildings that need roofing
material and some repairs.
1. Prime and reseal with
elastomeric roof coating
for a Quonset hut with a
surface area of 5,000 Sq.
ft. located 65820 Airport
rd., Lexington, OR.
2. Minor roof repairs to low
spots, and prime and seal
with elastomeric roof coat-
ing at the Morrow County
Museum Building with a
surface area of 8,400 Sq.
Ft. , located at 103 E. May
St. Heppner, OR.
3. Reroofing of the Mor-
row County Health Build-
ing located at 101 Board-
man Ave., Boardman, OR
97818. The roof surface
area is approximately
5,100 Sq. ft. Reroofing
shall be equivalent to fully
adhered 60 mil TPO (ther-
moplastic olefin) mem-
brane roofing.
Bids will be publically
opened at the Morrow
County Court being held
on the morning of April
19, 2017, At the Port of
Morrow, 2 Marine Drive,
Boardman, Oregon. Bids
will need to be received at
the Morrow County Public
Works office, 365 W. Hwy
74, P.O. Box 428, Lexing-
ton, OR. 97839. Bids will
need to be marked “Roof-
ing Projects” no later than
4:00p.m. April 17, 2017.
The County may reject
any bid not in compliance
with all prescribed public
bidding procedures and re-
quirements, and may reject
for good cause any or all
bids upon a finding of the
County that it is in the pub-
lic interest to do so. The
bidder must be registered
with the Construction Con-
tractors Board. BOLI rules
and regulations will apply
to this project. Please note
the following specific re-
quirements:

The roofing con-
tractor is the Prime con-
tractor. All subcontractors
shall be identified at the
time the bid is submitted.
•
All
contractors
shall be pre-qualified as
follows:
o
Bidders shall be
contractor specifically en-
gaged in the application of
spray.
o
Contractors shall
submit a copy of Applica-
tor’s certificate.
o
Supply a copy of
the proposed warranty of
manufacturer of roofing
material.
o
Contractor shall
carry a valid roofing li-
cense.
•
Materials
and
equipment, primer prior to
polyurethane foam coating
should be the appropriate
primer for the excising sur-
face.
•
Spray
applied
polyurethane foam insula-
tion shall be a two compo-
nent polyurethane insula-
tion system formulated for
use through airless equip-
ment.
This is a Morrow Coun-
ty Public Works Project
and funded with Morrow
County funds. A bid bond
in the amount of 10%
of the bid amount is re-
quired with the proposal.
Performed and Payment
Bonds in the amount of the
contract bid amount will
be required of the success-
ful bidder.

County Public Works of-
fice at (541) 989-9500.
The County will award
the contract within twenty
(20) calendar days of the
bid opening. Work will
commence within five (5)
calendar days of the notice
to proceed. The contractor
shall complete all work re-
quired in the contract with-
in 280 Calendar days of
the stated date in the notice
to proceed. All work must
be completed by whatever
Board of Commissioners
decide.
