Please keep Heppner
looking clean
Please make our town presentable again. The trash
and articles unwanted are beginning to be a sore sight
when walking in town. I try to do my part but others need
to help. We would like to have the visitors, not only on St.
Patrick’s Weekend but all year long, see our community
as a neat and tidy town.
Spread the word and encourage our young people
to participate in picking up trash, bottles and unwanted
items.

WCCC men’s Sunday
play to begin
The Willow Creek
Country Club men will
kick off their golf year on
Sunday, March 19. The
board will be serving break-
fast between 7:30 and 8:30
a.m. and the men will tee
off at 9 a.m. The event will
be a blind draw two-man
scramble. The men will be
playing the cross-country
set-up.
There will be a year-
long point system. Three
points will be earned for
participating, and another
point for ability. Prizes will
be awarded at the end of
the year.
All men are asked to
save the dates of March
31, April 1 and April 2; the
greens will be plugged and
sanded at that time. Board
members say this is a major
project that will be much
easier with lots of help.
The next event will
be on March 26. Duane
Disque, Ron Bowman and
Dave Gunderson are in
charge. Schedules of up-
coming events are available
in the clubhouse.
