to satisfy the obligations
secured by the trust deed
and a notice of default has
been recorded pursuant to
Oregon Revised Statutes
86.752(3); the default for
which the foreclosure is
made in grantor’s failure
to pay when due the fol-
lowing sums: Monthly
payments in the amount of
$1,575.85 due on October
25, 2016 and November
25, 2016 and real estate
taxes due and owing the
Morrow County Tax Col-
lector for the Tax Years
2013-2014;
2014-2015;
2015-2016; and 2016-
2017.
By reason of the default
just described, the benefi-
ciary has declared all sums
owing on the obligation se-
cured by the trust deed im-
mediately due and payable,
those sums being the fol-
lowing, to-wit: Principal in
the amount of $78,949.82;
accrued interest as of No-
vember 1, 2016, in the
amount of $1,032.10; plus
interest on the principal at
a per diem of $14.60031
from November 1, 2016,
until paid; together with
all attorney fees, costs, late
charges and trustee’s fees
and expenses incurred in
this foreclosure.
WHEREFORE, notice is
hereby given that the un-
dersigned trustee will on
April 25, 2017, at the hour
of 11:00 o’clock A.M., in
accord with the standard
of time established by
ORS 187.110, at the front
entrance of the Morrow
County Courthouse,100
S. Court St., in the City of
Heppner, County of Mor-
row, State of Oregon, sell
at public auction to the
highest bidder for cash the
interest in the real property
described above which the
grantor had or had power
to convey at the time of
the execution by grantor
of the trust deed, together
with any interest which
the grantor or grantor’s
successors in interest ac-
quired after the execution
of the trust deed, to satisfy
the foregoing obligations
thereby secured and the
costs and expenses of the
sale, including a reason-
able charge by the trustee.
Notice is further given that
any person named in ORS
86.778 has the right, at any
time prior to five days be-
fore the date last set for the
sale, to have this foreclo-
sure proceeding dismissed
and the trust deed reinstat-
ed by payment to the bene-
ficiary of the entire amount
then due (other than such
portion of the principal as
would not then be due had
no default occurred) and
by curing any other default
complained of herein that
is capable of being cured
by tendering the perfor-
mance required under the
obligation or trust deed,
and in addition to paying
those sums or tendering
the performance necessary
to cure the default, by pay-
ing all costs and expenses
actually incurred in en-
forcing the obligation and
trust deed, together with
trustee’s and attorney fees
not exceeding the amounts
provided by ORS 86.778.
Without limiting the trust-
ee’s disclaimer of repre-
sentations or warranties,
Oregon law requires the
trustee to state in this no-
tice that some residential
property sold at trustee’s
sale may have been used
in manufacturing meth-
amphetamines, the chemi-
cal components of which
are known to be toxic.
Prospective purchasers of
residential property should
be aware of this potential
danger before deciding to
place a bid for this prop-
erty at the trustee’s sale.
In construing this notice,
the singular includes the
plural, the word “grantor”
includes any successor in
interest to the grantor as
well as any other person
owing an obligation, the
performance of which is
secured by the trust deed,
and the words “trustee”
and “beneficiary” include
their respective successors
in interest, if any.

Callahan Crossley of Hermiston finished in fourth place in
barrel racing to advance to the next level at The American
Semi-Finals in Fort Worth, TX Feb. 14. While she did not
end up advancing to RFD-TV’s The American on Feb. 19, her
fourth-place time of 13.928 earned her $7,632 in the semi-finals.

Sheriff’s Report
-Continued from PAGE SIX did not call, but a customer
issues. Subject was
yelling at cars near location
listed. A deputy responded
and gave the subject a cour-
tesy ride to Umatilla.
-A male in Heppner
reported he saw a male and
a female subject leaving
his grandma’s rental house
in Heppner. He advised the
house is supposed to be
empty. He advised they left
headed toward Lexington.
Caller requested contact at
his residence.
-A female in Boardman
advised MCSO that her dad
was at the location with a
knife attempting to kill her
boyfriend.
December 11: -An
individual in Boardman
reported a large barn fire
in the area of Kunze Lane,
with other structures threat-
ened. Boardman fire and
Boardman ambulance re-
sponded to the location.
Boardman PD and Morrow
County Sheriff’s office as-
sisted with traffic control.
-A caller on I-84,
Boardman reported that an
SUV was going westbound
on the eastbound side of
the freeway. Oregon State
Police was advised.
-A male in Heppner
requested extra patrol in
the area. He advised he
located a pair of gloves laid
on top of his car and was
concerned there may be a
prowler in the area.
-Emergency dispatch
received an abandoned 911
call from Sub Zero Restau-
rant in Irrigon. On call back,
the bartender advised she
did. Dispatch spoke with
the customer, who advised
he no longer needed a dep-
uty; he thought his brother
was going to cause prob-
lems but he ended up not.
-A juvenile male in Ir-
rigon advised his mom kept
telling him magnetic fields
in the house were trying to
control her, and she thought
there were people in the
house even though there
were not. She also advised
his dad wasn’t in jail, even
though he was. The male
advised his sister was 14
and he was 18 and didn’t
live at home, and he was
afraid to drop his sister at
the house. He advised his
mother had never done this
before but that she was on
prescription pain pills, un-
known if she was on other
stuff though he thought she
might be.
-A female in the Hep-
pner area advised MCSO
that she received a call that
the neighbor was beating
up his girlfriend. MCSO
responded.
-A male in Irrigon ad-
vised MCSO that he and
his 19-year-old daughter
had a disagreement about
her coming home late; the
daughter took her clothes
and car and said that she
was heading back to col-
lege in Klamath Falls. He
advised he didn’t think
it was safe for her to be
on dangerous roads and
wanted to talk to a deputy
about his options. MCSO
made contact.
