Session planned
regarding feed directive
A session regarding the
new Veterinary Feed Direc-
tive will take place Sunday,
Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. at the
USDA Service Center, 430
W. Linden Way, Heppner.
As of January 2017,
Oregon livestock producers
must comply with a new
federal law that fundamen-
tally changes the way feed-
grade antibiotics are used
in their operations. During
the Feb. 19 session, OSU
Extension agents and a vet-
erinarian will be available
to answer questions about
the directive.
This session is spon-
sored by the Grow ‘Em and
Show ‘Em 4-H club, OSU
and Morrow County Exten-

sion and is open to anyone
and everyone wanting to
learn more about the Vet-
erinary Feed Directive and
how it will impact the way
market animals are raised.

includes admission to the
SAGE Center. There will
be short films on Tillamook
shown throughout the day
in the theater. The Store
at SAGE Center will have
Tillamook Squeaky Cheese
Curds available for pur-

School Career and Tech-
nical Education program
would like to invite the
community to attend its
open house on Monday,
Feb. 13, from 5:30-6:30
p.m. at the HHS metal shop.
The high school was
awarded a CTE Revitaliza-
tion Grant last year along
with the other high schools
in Morrow County School
District.
Staff and students
have been working over
the course of the year to
upgrade, install and begin
using some of the new in-
dustry-standard equipment
they were able to purchase.
They now invite commu-
nity members to come and
see the new equipment, ask
questions, understand the
goals of the grant and tour
the newly-facelifted facili-
ties during the open house.
Refreshments will be
served.

Office in Lexington. Bids will be opened at 9:00 a.m. at Morrow County Court in Boardman, OR. On
February 22, 2017.
Successful bidder will be required to take possession and remove vehicle within 30 days of being notified their bid has
been accepted Morrow County makes no warranties as to vehicles condition.
Payment in full must be completed with certified check, cashier’s check, or cash. Payment in full is required before
buyer will receive vehicle title from Morrow County. Buyer is required to register the vehicle in the buyer's name, and
present that registration to Morrow County prior to the vehicle being released to the buyer. Failure to perform these
steps within 30 days of being notified that bid has been accepted will nullify the winning bid, and Morrow County may
offer vehicle to next highest bidder or choose to relist the vehicle at auction.
