Linden Way, Heppner. As of January 2017, Oregon livestock producers must comply with a new federal law that fundamen- tally changes the way feed- grade antibiotics are used in their operations. During the Feb. 19 session, OSU Extension agents and a vet- erinarian will be available to answer questions about the directive. The high school was awarded a CTE Revitaliza- tion Grant last year along with the other high schools in Morrow County School District. Staff and students have been working over the course of the year to upgrade, install and begin using some of the new in- dustry-standard equipment they were able to purchase. They now invite commu- nity members to come and see the new equipment, ask questions, understand the goals of the grant and tour the newly-facelifted facili- ties during the open house.
