Quilt being raffled to help
local boy’s fight against
VWM Disease
This quilt, pieced by Darlene Klock (right) and quilted by Sheena Shank (left), is being raffled
to help Asher Schonbachler’s family in his fight against Vanishing White Matter Disease. Asher,
age three, was diagnosed with the rare disease last month. Tickets for the queen-sized quilt
are one for $5 or three for $12 and can be obtained from Hank and Debbi Howard, Andrea Di
Salvo, Jessie Smith, Darlene and Doug Klock, or Sheena Shank at Artisan Village. The draw-
ing will take place at a silent auction planned Jan. 7 at the Heppner Elks. Proceeds will go to

County Fair Court Chaper-
one. The position is open to
Morrow County residents;

Court program is open to
Morrow County students
enrolled in ninth, 10 th , 11 th
and 12 th grades, between
the ages of 14 and 19. Fair
court applications will
also be available at Mor-
row County high schools
and at the fair office. For
