Marge was the featured
quilter at the 2015 fall quilt
show. Early this spring,
Marge died unexpectedly.
Her passing left a big hole
in this group of quilters,
many of whom had been in-
spired by Marge to improve
their quilting skills.
Quilters gathered mate-

God blessed everyone
someone in a picture. The
person we sought when we
needed to clarify the name
of an old business in town
or where a canyon may
be located. His memories
were a treasure to all of us.
Perhaps this may be missed
most of all. His generosity
was a bonus.
Howard was recog-

and generosity to his com-
munity when he was named
Heppner Man of the Year
in 2014.
He was also a husband
and loving partner to Beth

were best of friends. She
predeceased him in Janu-

a loved family man to his
many nieces and nephews.
