More than 80 people joined Oregon Trail Library District employees in Heppner City Park
last Saturday to celebrate the end of the Heppner library’s summer reading program; it was
the final of three celebrations the library district held at libraries in Irrigon, Boardman and
Heppner. Families were treated to games, stories, lunch, face painting, a bubble machine and

three director’s positions:

of the township line divid-

Morrow-Gilliam County
line and in Wheeler County

Condon.
Each position is a three-

cater for the Murray’s beer and wine tasting event on
Thursday, Aug. 18, from 6-9 p.m. at the Morrow County
Fair.
The dinner will be prepared by Alvin Liu of Gateway
Café and will include chicken fettuccine, green salad, roll,
