Morrow County 4H is hiring 4-H Snack Shack Manager
during fair week, August 15-20, 2016. The job entails
pre-fair duties, such as but not limited to: become an
approved 4-H Volunteer (must be able to pass a back-
ground check), obtain a food handler’s license, recruit
volunteers, obtain a Temporary Restaurant License for
the facility, work with Health Inspector before business
opens, order food and supplies, clean and prep shack for
fair. During the week of fair, duties include, but aren’t
limited to: cleaning the snack shack nightly after it clos-
es, be enthusiastic about 4-H and supportive of all staff
and volunteers, be willing to delegate responsibilities,
relate well to people, be able to communicate well with
adults and youth in individual and group situations,
have organizational ability, have available time to carry
out responsibilities, be dependable, be willing to work
with all people regardless of race, color, religion, sex,
sexual orientation, national origin, age, marital status,
disability, and disabled veteran or Vietnam-era veter-
an status, understand the goals and purposes of 4-H,
help enforce 4-H rules and guidelines, following the
4-H code of conduct, keep other volunteers and/or 4-H
staff updated on the progress of activities, communi-
cate with 4-H staff on any help, changes, or additions
needed in the project area, work with fair board, sale
committee and volunteers to provide a smooth and ef-
ficient fair experience, work with 4-H staff to provide a
