Sheriff’s Report
March 14: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceive an animal complaint
from Irrigon regarding
two Boston terriers, one of
which bit some individuals.
-A person reported that
a female entered Buck-
num’s in Heppner; she had
been beaten with a steel
post and was conscious and
breathing with unknown in-
juries. Heppner ambulance
responded and transported
the female to Pioneer Me-
morial. An MCSO deputy
responded and spoke with
the female and the male
half.
-MCSO received a re-
port of an alarm going off
in Irrigon, possibly at Ir-
rigon City Hall. MCSO
responded and determined
that it appeared someone
had broken in through the
bathroom window and pos-
sibly exited through the
back door. The key holder
advised they would call
if they noticed anything
missing.
March 15: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received a report from an
individual in Irrigon who
said someone was wig-
gling his door knob and
that there were about six
individuals at the skate park
with assault rifles; they had
knocked on the door and
his window begging for
him to come out. MCSO
responded and kept the park
under observation before
determining no one was at
the park. Dispatch received
another call from the same
caller while deputies were
watching the park; the call-
er advised the subjects with
guns were back at the skate
park but deputies were on
the scene and advised the
park was empty.
-MCSO arrested Jason
Michael Francisco Garza,
26, on a Umatilla County
warrant for Failure to Ap-
pear on Possession of Meth-
amphetamine, Carrying
Concealed Weapon and
additional warrants on file.
-A man in the Hep-
pner area advised that his
father was trespassing on
his property and that he was
having continual problem
with him.
-MCSO was advised
of three aggressive dogs
at large in Irrigon. Barbara
Kay Aylett, 44, was cited
for Maintain Dog as a Pub-
lic Nuisance X2.
-A female at the Lex-
ington Sinclair advised
a male was leaving the
gas station headed toward
Hermiston on hwy. 207 and
she believed he might not
have a driver’s license. The
information was relayed to
Oregon State Police.
-A female contact-
ed MCSO regarding her
17-year-old daughter driv-
ing. She said she wanted the
rules clarified.
March 16: -Morrow
County dispatch received
a report of a small fire near
Baseline Ln., Ione. Ione
fired department responded
and the fire was put out.
-A woman called to
report a car that had been
parked outside of Sub Zero
Restaurant in Irrigon for
several hours even though
the restaurant had been
closed for several hours.
She advised there were two
guys sitting in the vehicle
acting suspicious. Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
made contact with the in-
dividuals in the car, who
ended up leaving on foot.
-A female in Boardman
reported she was about to
turn into her driveway and
another vehicle was going
to turn also. She advised
that when the other vehicle
saw she was going to turn
it took off and went next
door and watched her. She
advised she watched the
vehicle and took a couple
of pictures, and when the
subjects saw her taking
pictures they came over and
asked if they could help her.
She said no and they left
northbound.
-A man in Irrigon ad-
vised he thought his neigh-
bor was stealing cable TV;
he could see a black cable
coming from the ground
to the residence. MCSO
responded and determined
it to be a WiFi cable.
-A man in Irrigon re-
ported that goats in his
pasture had been killed by
either a coyote or a cat.
There were multiple tracks
all over the place.
-MCSO was advised
the Umatilla County Sher-
iff’s Office arrested Gene
Ray Ball, 30, on a parole
and probation detainer.
March 17: -Oregon
State Police requested Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Office
check on a male subject
walking along I-84 in some
type of distress to some de-
gree. MCSO also received
report from a female that
her husband had walked off
the job in Boardman and
was walking back to The
Dalles with no phone, no
money and no vehicle. The
wife provided a description
but law enforcement was
unable to locate.
-MCSO received report
of a fire along I-84 near

Boardman. It was deter-
mined ODOT was burning
but had failed to cl lit in.
-MCSO was advised of
a female who had taken a
male’s phone and was out-
side throwing a fit. MCSO
responded and arrested Di-
ana Hernandez for Theft II.
March 17: -A deputy
advised being out with stray
dogs in Irrigon. A juvenile
was warned for dogs at
large.
March 18: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received request for assis-
tance regarding harassment
issues in the Heppner area.
-A female in Heppner
advised that a male subject
next door called her a name,
flipped her off and left.
-A female in Heppner
advised that both of her
children were bitten by a
dog at the park. She denied
medical treatment but re-
quested the dog owner be
spoken to.
-MCSO was advised
of a possible disturbance
in downtown Heppner. A
deputy responded and de-
termined it was some col-
lege kids trying to get a
vehicle on a trailer.
March 19: -MCSO
deputy responded to a pos-
sible disable vehicle on
Hwy 74, Heppner. The
subject was pulled over to
watch the sheepdog trials.
-A deputy advised be-
ing out with a possible
disabled vehicle at I-84,
Hwy. 730. The driver was
out walking her dog. The
deputy advised she needed
to find somewhere else to
walk her dog.
-Morrow County Sher-
iff’s Office arrested Cody
Edward Rankin, 26, on a
Medford PD warrant.
-A male in Irrigon ad-
vised he thought the FBI
was looking for his son
because his son had a felony
warrant.
-A female on Hwy. 207
Echo, Lexington reported a
vehicle in front of her go-
ing over 65 with four-way
flashers on. A deputy made
contact and determined it
was a lighting issue.
March 20: -MCSO
received report that the lid
was off the sewer at a loca-
tion. MCSO responded and
replaced the manhole cover.
-A person called ad-
vising no emergency, they
just wanted to know about
the speed limit in Oregon.
The call was connected to
Oregon State Police.
-MCSO was advised
of threatening phone calls
from a female in the Ir-
rigon area. A deputy made
contact and if the calls
continued the female would
be arrested for telephonic
harassment.
-A female in Irrigon
reported a pickup driving
around like a maniac and
peeling out, and she didn’t
think it was appropriate.
March 21: -A person in
Irrigon advised his son was
throwing a fit and attacked
him. No weapons.
-A male advised his
was stuck in the snow off
the Western Route road.
Morrow County dispatch
referred the caller to a tow-
ing company.
March 22: -MCSO
was advised by a Boardman
resident that he went to pick
up his son at a residence
and he believed they were
selling drugs. BPD arrested
Marcelo Camacho Rea, 18,
on Driving Under Influence
of Intoxicants. Subject was
cited and released to appear.
-A female in Irrigon
reported that her mom’s
girlfriend was throwing
her mom’s things out and
causing a disturbance; they
had been arguing since 3
a.m. She advised the girl-
friend was not allowing
her mom to get her things.
She requested a deputy to
respond.
-MCSO received a re-
port that a female in Hep-
pner had been beat up by
her boyfriend about 3 a.m.
that morning. The caller
requested a welfare check
on the girlfriend.
-A female in Heppner
reported that a vehicle was
traveling at a high rate of
speed; she also stated that
a small child had been hit
by a vehicle the day before.
She requested extra patrol.
-An Irrigon resident
reported his neighbor
was outside waving a gun
around and saying there
were people across the
street. MCSO, Boardman
PD and Oregon State Police
responded.
March 23: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived report from a woman
in Boardman that he ex
came into a parking lot in
his Ford F350 crew cab,
spun around and threw
gravel all over her car.
-MCSO received report
of four calves on Baseline
near Hwy. 207.
-MCSO received report
of two ATVs out in the Tur-
key Shoots on Utah Ave. in
Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
from a subject on Cedar Rd.
in Irrigon that “Dad” was
banging on the door and try-
ing to take the caller away
from the house. MCSO
responded.
-MCSO received report
that a dog was dropped on
the interstate near Space
Age. The call was trans-
ferred to Umatilla County
Sheriff’s Office.
-MCSO received report
of a white sports car with a
spoiler and black convert-
ible top going 100-plus on
I-84 E, Boardman.
-MCSO received report
that Marion county Sher-
iff’s Office arrested An-
thony Craig Jones, 33, on
two Morrow County war-
rants for Failure to Appear/
Failure to Appear II and
PIONEER MEMORIAL

Failure to Appear/Assault
IV-Harassment. He was
lodged at Marion County
Jail with $35,000 bail.
-MCSO received report
from a man in Heppner that
another man threatened to
throw a rock at him and was
mouthing off. The caller
requested that MCSO talk
to the man and contact him
as well.
-MCSO received report
that Hermiston Police De-
partment arrested Brenda
Gizelle Galvan, 26, on a
Morrow County Circuit
Court warrant for Failure to
Appear/Theft KK. She was
cited with $25,000 bail and
released because she had
an infant child with her and
was unable to locate a sitter.
-MCSO received report
of a vicious dog on Wyo-
ming in Irrigon. The caller
said the dog was back with
a pack.
-Heppner Fire Depart-
ment received report of a
propane tank at Heppner
High School venting for
some unknown reason.
HFD and Morrow County
Grain Growers responded
and determined it was a
broken line.
-Irrigon Fire Depart-
ment received report of
two fires behind them on
Cain Lane. The caller said
the fires were controlled,
but it was too windy and
requested that the fire de-
partment speak to them.
IFD was unable to locate
the fire.
-Irrigon Ambulance
received request for an am-
bulance for a 62-year-old
female who had fallen. Ir-
rigon Ambulance respond-
ed, but the patient refused
transport.
-Boardman Ambulance
received report of a female
gasping for air. She was
transported.
March 24: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received report of a grey
Chevy parked in a weird
spot at the Boardman west-
bound rest area on I-84.
MCSO and Boardman Po-
lice Department responded.
-MCSO received report
of someone on a three-
wheeler driving in the tur-
key shoots and the caller
said they drove the vehicle
on the Irrigon city streets.
-MCSO received report
of a male without a shirt
hanging out of a yellow
car on the side of the road
on I-84, Boardman. The
call was referred to another
agency.
-MCSO received report
that a subject was driving
a white Cadillac DeVille
expired. The caller said
that the vehicle was parked
in front of his residence.
MCSO arrested David
Ramirez, 33, for Driving
While suspended-misde-
meanor.
-MCSO received report
of a male subject on Wagon
Wheel Loop, Irrigon who
was driving around 40 mph,
swerving into the oncoming
lane, pushing in the clutch
and revving the motor. The
caller said he was walking
when the vehicle went by.

Morrow County Dis-
trict Attorney Justin Nelson
has released the following
report:
- Catarino Birjilio Mar-
tinez, 21, was found guilty
of Possession of Meth-
amphetamine, a Class C
Felony. The defendant’s
driver’s license was sus-
pended and the defendant
sentenced to 18 months su-
pervised probation, subject
to 90 sanction units with 30
jail units, probation condi-
tions to include 60 hours of
community service and 10
days jail time with credit for
time served. Fines, fees and
assessments totaled $500.
- Catarino Birjilio Mar-
tinez, 21, was found guilty
of Failure to Appear I, a
Class C Felony, and sen-
tenced to 24 months super-
vised probation, probation
conditions to include 40
hours of community ser-
vice. Fines, fees and assess-
ments totaled $200.

Morrow County Justice
of the Peace Ann Spicer
has released the following
Justice Court report:
-Shawn Glenn Eaton,
53, of Littleton, CO was
found guilty of No Aquatic
Invasive Species Permit
and fined $50.
-Joshua Travis Peck,
41, was found guilty of
Driving While Suspended
or Revoked and Driving
Under the Influence of In-
toxicants (DUII). Of the
sentence of 180 days jail
time, 150 days were sus-
pended and the defendant
sentenced to 30 days jail
time, to run concurrent with
the following case. The de-
fendant also had his driver’s
license suspended for three
years and was sentenced to
150 hours community ser-
vice and three years bench
probation, probation condi-
tions to include attending
a Victims Impact Panel.
Fines, fees and assessments
totaled $2,862.
-Joshua Travis Peck,
41, was found guilty of an
additional count Driving
Under the Influence of In-
toxicants. Of the sentence
of 180 days jail time, 178
days were suspended and
the defendant sentenced to
two days jail time, to run
concurrent with the previ-
ous case. The defendant
also was sentenced to three
years bench probation, pro-
bation conditions to include
attending a Victims Impact
Panel. Fines, fees and as-
sessments totaled $1,862.
-MCSO received report
of an alarm going off at the
Boardman tree farm. It was
a false alarm.
-MCSO received report
