Sheriff’s Report
December 22: -Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Ofice
received a report from a
female in Irrigon who said
she received a text from
her sister saying she should
call the Dept. of Human
Services and the police and
have them come over. The
caller advised she did not
know what was going on;
there were children in the
home, however, and also a
male in the residence, but
no weapons.
-A female in Irrigon ad-
vised that a male who was
removed from her property
had her items, car keys,
house keys and phones. She
advised she was home for
contact.
-MCSO arrested Jus-
tin Ismael Garza, 25, on a
Umatilla County Sheriff’s
Ofice warrant for failure
to appear on possession of
a controlled substance –
methamphetamine.
-MCSO was advised
that David Russell Robert
Foster, 46, was arrested
with a hold placed for an
Irrigon Justice Court war-
rant for failure to appear on
driving while suspended.
The subject was lodged at
Coffee Creek.
-An MCSO deputy ad-
vised that an erratic driver
on Hwy. 730 almost ran
other cars off the road.
UCSO and Oregon State
Police were advised.
-MCSO received a re-
port of a cougar in a pasture
with some cows in Irrigon.
-UCSO advised MCSO
that they arrested Kevin
Haskel Bond, 42, on an
Irrigon Justice Court war-
rant for failure to appear on
failure to appear.
December 23: -Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Ofice
received a report from a
female in the Ione area that
she hadn’t heard from her
son in a week. She stated
that the last time she talked
to him, he was heading up
to the mountains.
-MCSO was advised
that Multnomah County Jail
arrested Timothy Michael
Large, 46, on local charges
with a hold placed for an
Irrigon Justice Court war-
rant for failure to appear on
driving under the inluence
of intoxicants.
-A female in Heppner
advised MCSO that she was
getting suspicious phone
calls from a subject regard-
ing a problem with her com-
puter. She told them all that
she didn’t have a computer
but they have been calling
multiple times and yelling
at her. They had called at 11
p.m. the previous night. She
requested deputy contact.
-A female in Boardman
reported to MCSO that her
12-year-old daughter was
hitting her.
-MCSO was advised of
a red Ford pickup stopped
in the middle of the north-
bound lane on Hwy. 207-
Echo, Lexington. A male
subject was leaning out
of the window and not re-
sponding to them. Lexing-
ton Quick Response Team
responded and contacted
the driver. The vehicle led
the scene before MCSO
or Heppner ambulance ar-
rived.
-A female in Irrigon
reported that her boyfriend
grabbed her by the throat
and broke two phones, pre-
venting her from calling
911. The male’s 15-year-old
got between them and broke
up the ight. She advised the
male was very intoxicated.
There were weapons in
the house but none were
out. The male had left the
residence.
December 25: -A fe-
male reported hearing an
explosion on Linden Way,
Heppner Rd. Several others
in the surrounding area cor-
roborated her story.
-MCSO arrested Ross
Carlisle Vanetta, 36, on W
Seventh Road, Irrigon for
Failure to Appear and for
Assault IV.
-Reporting person ad-
vised that a female with a
warrant out for her arrest
was on SW Wyoming Av-
enue, Irrigon and should be
served her warrant.
-A female reported that
two blocks north of High-
way 730, she hit a black
cow. The cow did not go
down and was last seen to
be heading west bound thru
a ield. The female advises
that there was damage done
to her car.
-Travis Ross McIntyre,
35, was arrested by Oregon
State Police on I-84, Board-
man for driving under the
inluence of intoxicants and
for reckless driving.
-On NW Oregon Av-
enue, a male reported to

SURPLUS FURNITURE LIQUIDATION
Morrow County will be offering
surplus ofice furniture to the public
FREE OF CHARGE.
Furniture will irst be made available to Morrow
County government entities, not-for-proit organ-
izations, civic, and other non-commercial groups.
Furniture will then be offered to the general public.
When: On May 6, 2016 from 9:00 AM to Noon and
on May 12, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; furniture
will be made available to Morrow County govern-
ment entities, not-for-proit organizations, civic, and
other non-commercial groups only.
WHEN: On May 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00
PM; furniture will be made available to all mem-
bers of the public, individuals, and groups.
WHERE: Furniture will be available at three loca-
tions on each day during the hours listed above.
HEPPNER: Gilliam & Bisbee Building; 106 East
May Street at the corner of
Main and May Streets.
LEXINGTON: Former Lexington School Gym;
270 West Main Street.
IONE: 260 West Main Street:

Terms: Furniture will be offered free of charge on a
irst-come, irst-served basis. Groups and individuals
taking furniture will be responsible for lifting, mov-
ing, and transporting furniture. Some furniture is dis-
assembled, and all is offered “as-is.” The County will
not hold furniture for pick-up at a later date, nor will
County staff be available to assist in moving or as-
sembling furniture. For accounting and liability pur-
poses, those viewing and taking furniture will need
to sign an acknowledgement releasing the County of
liability associated with viewing, moving and using
the furniture; as well as provide their names, contact
information, and a list of items taken.
The furniture is FREE.

December 28: -Travis
Ross McIntyre was arrested
on I-84 E Boardman for
driving under the inluence
of intoxicants and reckless
driving.
-At Silver Creek Con-
tracting on Highway 74 a
person reported that that
when he asked an employee
of his if he was doing meth,
the subject got mad and
jumped out of the pickup.
When the reporting person
went to go talk to him, the
subject threatened to stab
him. The reporting person
asked to talk to a deputy
regarding this.
-Nathan Lee Jones,41,
was arrested by MCSO on
an Umatilla County Sheriffs
warrant for a prole violation
and for failing to register as
a sex offender.
-On I 84, Boardman, a
septic truck was reported to
be on its side in the median.
One white male appeared to
be walking around it. The
injuries are unknown.
-At the Frontier Trailer
Park on Main Street, Board-
man, a male reported a
stolen vehicle. He advised
that he let someone bor-
row his car and they never
returned it.
December 29: -At
Green Acres on Paterson
Ferry Road a person report-
ed that her friend felt unsafe
in the presence of someone
that she had met online. It
was reported that the female
was locked in a trailer with
him and was hiding in the
public restroom and shower
area with her belongings.
The reporting person said
that the female was scared
to come out of the restroom
despite her previous contact
with the mystery male over
the computer.
-A person reported to
hearing one gunshot on SE
Riverview Avenue, Irrigon
and would like to make sure
that the area is clear.
-It was reported that a
child was crying and getting
slammed around a motel
room at Sub Zero Motel on
S First Street, Irrigon. The
reporting person said that
she tried to yell thru the
wall at them to stop but the
noises continued.
-A theft was reported
at the Sub Zero Motel in
Irrigon. Reporting person
said that a fridge was stolen
and that a few things were
broken up.
-A call was made on
W Willow View Drive,
Heppner regarding some
foster kids and requesting
Child Protective Services
to make contact with them.
DHS was notiied.
- A person reported a
large Mercedes Benz Mo-
torhome running with its
blinker on for 5 miles and
unable to maintain lane at
40 mph. The motorhome
was driving on I 84 West,
Echo.
December 30: -On
SE Division Road, Irrigon
a male reported missing
a Stihl 046 replacement
chainsaw with no bar. It was
previously in a big black
box on his porch. He does
not wish to report it stolen,
he just wants to be notiied
if it is found. The reporting
person says that he will
check in with his relatives
to make sure that they did
not take it and will let the
MSCO know.
-A female reported that
an older white Crown Vic-
toria vehicle was parked
outside of her residence.
She reported that the driver
was at her neighbor’s house
at the time, and that he has
threatened her before. The
reporting person is con-
cerned for her safety. The
reporting person also states
that the tags are bad on the
vehicle.
-A female living on
S Main Street, Heppner
reported that her neighbor
was threatening to break
her daughters in law’s jaw.
-Michael Dean Lynch,
58, was arrested at S Main
Street, Heppner on Pro-
le and Probation by the
MCSO.
-On I 84 W, Boardman,
a maroon Dodge pickup
pulling a Cougar trailer was
reported to be all over the
place, almost side swiping
two semi’s when it passed
them.
-A theft was reported
on Washington Lane, Irri-
gon. The reporting person
advised that he was missing
a Dealt 18V drill, bits to go
with it and a Dewalt Saw-
saw, both battery operated.
The reporting person claims
that they were in a red and
black Husky bag together
in his shop. They have been
gone a couple of days.
-On S First Street, Ir-
rigon a male reported that a
father had has his daughter
in a car, in the drive way,
when he is not supposed to
be around his kids, as far as
the reporting person knows.
Reporting person advises
that he also has a son, but
he is not in the car.
-Estevan Ybarra, 19,
was arrested on SW Wyo-
ming Avenue, Irrigon by
MSCO on Oregon Youth
Authority.
December 31: -On SW
Third Street, Irrigon, a fe-
male reported that she was
getting threatening phone
calls from someone that she
doesn’t know.
-Rover Security reports
that a Smokey grey Toyota
Camry was talking pictures
of the new gas plant on Wil-
son Lane, Boardman. The
reporting person says that
he was taking pictures with
the camera on his phone and
that his boss does not want
any pictures of the plant
being taken.
- O n Wi l s o n L a n e ,
Boardman, a female report-
ed that though her brother
just got out a thirty-day
rehabilitation center, he had
drunk between two to three
gallons of vodka in the last
two days and he was tak-
ing Prozac and other psych
meds. Reporting person
advised that it was just her
and her brother in the house
at this time.
January 2: -A per-
son in the Boardman area
advised Morrow County
Sheriff’s Ofice of a subject
in a Volvo semi with a dead
battery. The caller advised
he and his wife were ex-
tremely concerned he was
going to freeze to death if
someone didn’t help him.
MCSO dispatched a tow.
-A person in Irrigon
requested a welfare check
on a female, who advised
her she was going to go
and seek DV security on
Monday because of her
boyfriend.
-MCSO was advised
of a golden retriever that
kept going into Heppner
Family Foods through the
automatic door looking for
food. The caller advised it
had stolen two loaves of
bread and a stuffed animal
puppy so far. The dog had
a collar but no tags. MCSO
picked up on the dog and
located the owner.
-A person in Irrigon
advised a female was as-
saulted by the caller’s son
sometime between the night
before and earlier that day.
MCSO arrested Shawn
Putnam, 35, for violation of
release agreement. Subject
was lodged with no bail.
January 3: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Ofice was
advised of a single-vehicle
rollover accident on I-84
east, Boardman. A female
was reported to be in the
vehicle. MCSO referred the
call to another agency.
-MCSO was advised
of a single-vehicle roll-
over accident on I-84 west,
Boardman, with children in
the vehicle. Oregon State

Police took over the call.
-MCSO responded to
a white Nissan that had
lipped but was on its wheels
on I-84 west, Boardman.
-MCSO was advised
of a single-vehicle motor
vehicle accident with a de-
ployed air bag on I-84 west,
Boardman. MCSO, Board-
man ire, Boardman ambu-
lance and OSP responded;
OSP took over the call.
-MCSO received re-
port of a subject behind a
property in Boardman. The
caller advised a male in a
brown coat had been behind
their residence all morning.
They were unsure of what
he was doing but he had
been standing out there all
morning and now he was
lying down.
-MCSO received a re-
quest for an agency assist
on a domestic in progress
in Umatilla. OSP responded
and determined it was ver-
bal only.
-A person in Irrigon
requested contact regarding
his 13-year-old son.
-A female in Boardman
requested deputy contact
regarding a sack that had
been put in her mailbox.
She did open the sack and
found rocks in it. MCSO
responded.
-A person called MCSO
concerned for subject that
had headed from Boardman
to Ione two hours before
and they hadn’t heard from
them. MCSO searched for
the vehicle but the caller
called back and advised
they had made contact with
the individuals who had ar-
rived safely and were at a
house outside of Ione.
-A person in Boardman
requested deputy contact
regarding fireworks that
were causing their cattle to
get out.
January 9: -A person
in Irrigon advised Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
that there was a gold car
parked on the back of their
property with someone
sleeping in the passenger’s
seat. A deputy responded.
The passenger advised the
car had broken down and
the driver went to ind help.
-A female in Board-
man advised MCSO that
her father would not give
her baby back to her. The
caller then advised she no
longer wanted law enforce-
ment and would call back if
the situation did not calm
down. An oficer responded
and determined the infant
was in good condition.
-A female advised
MCSO that she believed
a vehicle involved in a
theft was at an RV park in
Irrigon.
-A person in Irrigon
advise MCSO that a man
was beating up her friend’s
daughter. MCSO arrested
Jessica Withrow, 27, for
Harassment – Domestic
Violence. The subject was
released to appear on no-
tiication from the district
attorney.
-A caller in Heppner
advised that he let a wan-
dering pygmy goat into his
yard. The goat had a red
collar. The caller advised
the goat was ine in the yard
until the owner was located.
-A female in Irrigon
advised MCSO that a male
under a no contact order
was just in her yard yell-
ing at her. A deputy made
contact.
-MCSO served a re-
straining order on a subject
out at the Sinclair station in
Boardman.
January 10: -A Mor-
row County Sheriff’s dep-
uty advised of a suspicious
vehicle parked on Union
Pacific Railroad property
by the Boardman Marina.
The vehicle had a knife on
the front seat and a samu-
rai sword in the back seat.
Union Paciic was advised.
The oficer was unable to
locate anyone in the area.
