FFA members seek state degree
Heppner and Irrigon FFA members made their presentations this past week for their require-
ments to earn the State FFA Degree, the highest accolade the state can award its members. Stu-
dents must meet minimum qualiications within their Supervised Agriculture Experience
(SAE) project in terms of dollars and/or hours, as well as leadership activities both in and
out of the FFA realm. Application requirements included passing a test, completing multiple
years’ worth of record books, completing an application and making a presentation to a panel
of community members in order to be considered. Pictured are community members (L-R)
