Jerry R. Brosnan, 45,

February 5, 2016. A public
graveside service is sched-
uled for Thursday, February
11, at 1 p.m. at the Heppner
Masonic Cemetery in Hep-
pner.
Jerry was born on Sep-
tember 26, 1970 to Edward
and Lorraine (Harnden)
Brosnan in Pendleton, OR.
He was raised on the fam-
ily farm in Heppner and
attended school K-12 there.

time he had doing just that.
He saved his money and
bought a boat and traveled
to Canada many times to go
ishing. He also had many
wonderful years traveling
with his camp trailer, and
later a ifth-wheel, to his
much-loved mountains, the
coast and many trips to the
Columbia River. He had
many good years and good
friends for which he was
thankful.
Delmer loved his fam-
ily. His boys and his grand-
kids were his pride and joy,
and he loved spending time
with them. He was a great
example for his children.
He was a lifetime mem-
ber of the Heppner BPOE #
358 and was a Past Exalted
Ruler of that lodge. He was
an active member and par-
ticipant until his health no
longer allowed his to do so.
Delmer is survived by
dustry as a logger for Mc-
Carty Logging, and from
2000-2005 he worked for
the Walmart Distribution
Center as a forklift operator.
After suffering a traumatic
head injury, Jerry spent a
year at Elks Rehabilitation
learning to walk and talk
again. In a year’s time, he
had improved enough to
live independently and was
able to go back to work as
a logger, which he dearly
loved. Learning to live
again was his greatest ac-
complishment and one he
did very successfully until
his death.
Fishing, hunting, trips
to the ocean, cattle drives,
night herding cattle and
traveling were among
his favorite things. Jerry
