The Lady Cardinals
were two players down on
Friday’s games against the
Honkers but they didn’t
give up the ight to play a
hard game. Plagued with
high turnovers, the Lady
Cards fell short in the i-
nal minutes of the game;
at one minute left in the
fourth quarter they were
only down one point but
with the last few seconds
the Honkers made two more
points to win 38-35 over the
Cardinals.
The Lady Cards went
to Dufur prepared to ight
for the win in their fourth
league game against the
Rangers Saturday. The girls
were closely matched and
in the fourth quarter the
Cardinal lead came down
to 45-49—too close for
comfort. The Lady Cards
decided to pull ahead to
55-47 for their third league
win.
