Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, November 18, 2015 - FIVE Sheriff’s Report Jail. -Morrow County Sher- iff’s Ofice received a re- port of a stolen vehicle out of Irrigon. -MCSO reported serv- ing a restraining order in Boardman. -MCSO was advised that a male subject was rid- ing a four-wheeler in Hep- pner. The person advising was worried he was going to hit a kid. -MCSO was advised of a disabled semi and trailer blocking the roadway on Hwy. 207-Echo, Lexing- ton. MCSO responded and remained on the scene until the tow truck came. -MCSO received a re- port from a women in Irri- gon who advised someone was there taking pictures of her house and property, and her husband was out of town so it made me uncom- fortable. MCSO responded and made contact but was unable to locate the subject. -A man in Irrigon ad- vised MCSO that his neigh- bor was trying to shoot his dog. He stated that his neighbor thought his pit bull killed his dog but it did not. MCSO cited Ricky Amburgy for Maintain Dog as a Public Nuisance. -MCSO was advised of a person trespassing on a property on Hwy. 2 0 7 - S p r a y, H e p p n e r. MCSO responded and lo- cated the subject. They had permission to be on the property. -MCSO was advised by a man in Irrigon that his son was being disrespectful and talking about running away. He advised he wanted a cop to come over and scare his son a little. -MCSO was advised that a person got beat up in Irrigon, and while a friend was taking her to the hospi- tal, a subject was let into her house and took gold rings with diamonds and a cell phone. Advised the subject was currently at Sub Zero. September 27: -A per- son in Heppner reported that there was ire coming from the top of the hill. Heppner Fire responded and advised the subjects were using a smoker and there was no ire. -A female in Irrigon advised that there was a party going on at a loca- tion and that there was a male screaming, using ob- scenities and saying things like, “This is my town.” She advised it was pos- sibly turning into a ight, it looked like several people were involved now. Mor- row County and Umatilla County sheriff’s offices, Oregon State Police and Boardman PD responded. -A man in Heppner advised that a female was sexually harassing him. He advised he was engaged to the subject’s mother. He requested contact. MCSO responded and made con- tact with all parties. -A female in Irrigon reported that a male had punched her in the face and side on Saturday morning. She went into the hospi- tal and was treated for a strained neck, chest wall contusion and black eye. MCSO responded and made contact with the victim. -MCSO was advised that Klamath County Sher- iff’s Ofice arrested Mat- thew Byron Phillips, 44, on two Morrow County warrants for Probation Vio- lation and a Heppner Justice Court warrant for Failure to Pay Fine on Contempt of Court. The subject was lodged at Klamath County Jail with a hold placed for transport. -A man advised MCSO that he was at a gun range in Boardman; he stated that he had the gun range reserved but another subject was telling him there was no such thing as reservations and he would stay till he’s done. MCSO responded and made contact with the subjects. -A man in Boardman reported there was an ag- gressive pit bull at his resi- dence, and that it tried to attack his daughter. He advised he held a .45 to its head and it had left the yard. MCSO made contact with the subject and advised they would try to get it taken care of. -A woman in Irrigon advised she thought her tenant was doing illegal burning behind his place; she believed the things the subject was burning were toxic and should not be burned. She told him to put it out and he said no. MCSO and a ireighter responded and made contact with the subject and had him put it out and warned him that he needed to get a burn permit to burn and that he would be cited for burning illegal things if contacted again. September 28: -Mor- row County Sheriff’s Ofice was advised that there were subject on a property on Big Butter Creek Road and the owners did not want them there. MCSO responded and made contact with both parties. -A person requested as- sistance picking up a female who had walked away from a facility in Heppner and was walking south out of town. MCSO responded and gave the female a ride back to the facility. -A man asked to speak to a deputy regarding pos- sible child neglect/aban- donment concerning his daughter. He advised he believed the mother may have abandoned the child in Irrigon but was living in Kennewick now. He believed the child may be staying with grandparents. -A female in Heppner advised a male subject was harassing her and was just on the street in front of her house and parked next door. She requested contact that evening at her residence. -A woman on Hwy. 730, Irrigon called and advised she had been in an accident and was injured. MCSO, Boardman PD, Ir- rigon Ambulance, Irrigon Fire, Boardman Ambulance and Oregon State Police responded and the patient was transported to Good Shepherd Hospital. -A man at the I-84 east- bound rest area, Boardman, reported that an individual was pulled down by his large dog and had hit his head on the ground and had a cut on his head. The patient left the scene before responders could make contact, advising her would be headed to the Boardman clinic or the Boardman ire department. -A woman in Board- man requested contact from a deputy concerning a irearm she found while investigating a “fort” her son found on his way home from the bus stop. -A person advised MCSO that a male was making threats. MCSO and Boardman PD responded; the subject agreed to stay in his trailer for the night and the other party agreed to stay away from the trail- er for the night. The irst person later called again and stated the subject was standing in his doorway, yelling. MCSO and Board- man PD responded and ar- rested Ernie Paul Thomas, 58, for Disorderly Conduct II. -A person at Boardman Shell advised a man came inside who thought there was a person in his trunk and was afraid to open it without an oficer. Board- man PD and Boardman Ambulance responded due to the driver being diabetic. September 29: -A male from Boardman advised Morrow County Sheriff’s Ofice that he believed he accidentally left the water running in his kitchen and left for work; the male ad- vised he worked in Arling- ton. MCSO was unable to respond. The subject called back later and advised he left work and returned home, and the water was on. -MCSO was advised of an injured deer on the side of the road and a de- ceased deer about a half mile before that on Hwy. 74, Heppner. Both were on the eastbound side of the road. Oregon State Police and Oregon Dept. of Trans- portation were advised. -MCSO received request for Community Counseling Solutions inter- vention for a female subject in Irrigon with cuts all over her arms; caller advised the female was very suicidal and possibly abused. The subject had left the scene, saying she had to leave with her boyfriend. MCSO was unable to locate. IRRIGON MAN MISSING -Continued from PAGE ONE facial hair. He was last seen area. Getman reportedly left his residence in Irri- gon at 2 a.m. Monday. He was seen near the wildlife refuge west of Irrigon at 9:30 a.m. Monday, and may have been spotted at Frederickson Farming near Boardman between 1:30-2 p.m., according to Mor- row County Sheriff Ken Matlack. Getman is described as six feet tall and 190 pounds with very short gray hair, brown eyes and no wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, brown plaid shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. On a previous occur- rence, police say Getman walked away and was picked up by a truck driver. However, as of Tuesday evening, he had still not been located. Anyone who locates Getman or has information concerning him is asked to contact local law enforce- ment or the Morrow County Sheriff’s Ofice at 541-676- 5317. Justice Court Report Morrow County Justice of the Peace Ann Spicer has released the following Justice Court report: -Christine R. Rankin, 51, of Heppner was found guilty of Driving Uninsured and was ined $160. -Robin Ann Bredield, 44, of Heppner, was found guilty of Violating the Speed Limit 52/35 mph and was ined $110. -Joan Michele Weinke, 46, of Pilot Rock, OR was found guilty of Violating the Basic Rule 70/55 mph and was ined $260.
