In Unified competi-
tions, the team is made up
of half Special Olympic
athletes and half Unified
players.
Cassidy King, who
plays for the Four Rivers
Wolfpack, had plenty of
support for her team’s soft-
ball debut. Cassidy is the
granddaughter of Don and
Jan Stroeber of Heppner.
Grandma and Grandpa
Stroeber were on hand to
cheer her on and encour-
age her. Cassidy’s parents,
Brett and Cindy (Stroe-
ber) King, both coached
teams in the tournament.
Aunt Shelley (Stroeber)
Hill took pictures, orga-
nized and cheered her on.
Aunt Christy (Stroeber)
Correa kept books, filled
out lineup cards, cheered,
and helped with the batting
order. Cousin Colton Hill
was an umpire and field of-
ficial. Shelbi King (sister),
Brad Pollock (friend) and
Makenzie Correa (cousin)
all played on the team as
Unified players. Cousin
