Support for fire hall bond To the editor: I would like to take this opportunity to write this editorial to show my support for the Heppner fire/rural fire bond measure. These dedicated people of our fire department need our support for a new fire hall/training facility, a new facility that the firefighters and the community can be proud of and get a fire hall for the next generations. They are there for our safety and services more than we know, not just for fire services. They take much time out of their lives and schedules to volunteer for services we all need in this community. I urge you to show your support along with me in voting yes on the upcoming bond measure.
