Catholic speaker at St. Patrick’s church this Sunday Pete Schell, a lifelong Catholic who taught CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) for nearly 25 years, will be speaking at St. Patrick’s Catholic parish hall on Sunday, Sept. 20, at 12:30 p.m. Schell has also taught adult education and RCIA, as well as serving as Direc- tor of Religious Education. He has written cat- echetical curriculum for elementary and high school religious education pro- grams. Additionally, he has written three books and many pamphlets on biblical and religious topics. Those materials will be available after his talk. The one-hour presenta- tion, “The Biblical Founda- tion of the Roman Catholic Church,” is focused on teaching Catholics how they can defend their faith. While living in Portland she attended the Bridge City Church. On December 24, 1968 she married Leonard Booth at Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death in 1991. Throughout her life Pamela had lived in Min- nesota; Japan; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; and Portland, Silverton and Heppner, OR. On November 8, 2007 she married Elfred Williams at Reno, NV.
