Suzy Cason took home the calf riding buckle with 67 points. Foster placed first in cow riding with a 75, followed by Jared Eckman and Shelton Sharp, each with a 74. For barrel riding, Quaid Jensen took the pee wee di- vision with 33.16, followed by Stetson Mackenzie with 40.32 and Mesa Mackenzie with 45.57. Brock Hisler was the winner of the junior barrels with 18.17, with Sydney Bracher (18.39) and Hallee Hisler (19.42) close behind. Senior barrels saw a top-three spread of less than a tenth of a second among first-place Jaiden Mahoney (18.23) Becky Eng (18.27) and third-place Jacee Cur- rin (18.30). Breakaway roping was Lexi Mackenzie with a 3.72, followed by Lacie Mackenzie with 4.15 and Jett Stewart with 6.59. Open tie-down calf roping was taken by Garrett Robinson with 10.39. Dick - FIVE Hoffman came in second at 15.32 and Lane Bailey third with 16.79. Team roping went to the team of Jett and Jason Stewart with a time of 7.92. Cole Crosswaite and Foster placed next with 8.18, with Mike Mahoney and Kolby Currin rounding out the top three with 9.84. In ribbon roping, Rob- inson and Tate Gentry took first with 15.92, Lacie and Sam Mackenzie placed sec- ond with 17.49 and Foster and Willy Gentry took third with 20.74. Wildfire damage housing relief available for Oregon wildfire victims Salem, OR—House Republican Leader Mike McLane (R-Powell Butte) recently announced that relief for wildfire victims is now available and acces- sible through the Wildfire Damage Housing Relief Account. Created through legis- lation sponsored by Rep. These next few months will be challenging as we work to recover from these devastating fires across our state,” said McLane. The Wildfire Damage Housing Relief Account was created under House Bill 3148-A, and will be ad- ministered by the Housing and Community Services Department to assist house- holds of lower income that suffer a loss of housing due to a wildfire. The de- partment will provide as- sistance from the account in the form of grants in the amount of $5,000 each. Eligibility guidelines and applications can be found here on the Oregon Housing and Community Services website.
