Cody High of Heppner
was one of this month’s
winners of Community
Bank’s Silver Sweepstakes.
In celebration of the
60 th anniversary of Commu-
nity Bank, each month 60
ounces of silver bullion will
be given away—a 10-ounce
bar to six lucky winners.
With 14 branches, that will
be 14 names advanced to
the prize drawings. A ran-
dom drawing of six names
determines the lucky win-
ners for the month.
Last month’s drawing
was held on July 31. The
six winners were Cody
High from Heppner, Terry
Zohner of College Place,
Verna Story of Walla Walla,
Mary Ann Powell from
La Grande, Keith Kirts of
Imnaha, and Mary Ann
Burrows of Wallowa.
