received a Bachelor of Science degree in international
rescue and relief. She is employed as administrative as-
sistant at Loving Stitches Quilt Shop and Fine Baskets
in Marysville, WA.
The groom is the son of Brian and Laura Faley of
Mount Vernon, WA. He graduated from Mount Vernon
High School and then attended Skagit Valley Community
College in Mount Vernon. He is employed as a foreman
for White Construction in Burlington, WA.
Officiating pastor at the ceremony was Ofa Langi.
The bride wore a gown of white satin and silk chiffon
with lace, made by the bride’s mother.
Maid of honor was sister-of-the bride Heidi Wenberg.
Bridesmaids were Kelila Saunders, friend of the bride
from the Ukraine, and Rebecca Lovelace, friend of the
bride from Colorado Springs, CO. Niece Abigail Wenberg
served as flower girl.
The groom’s best man was friend David Wilson of
Edmonds, WA. Groomsmen were brother Ian Faley of
Mount Vernon and friend of the groom Frank Spane
of Stanwood, WA. Nephews of the bride and groom,
Andrew Wenberg and Hugh Faley, served as ring bearer
and Bible boy.
Bride’s nephew and niece, Sebastian Wenberg and
Akaina Wenberg, attended the guest book. Brittany Mar-
tinez was wedding coordinator, and food was by Erik and
Cynthia Wenberg.
After the ceremony, the Faleys took a wedding trip
to Leavenworth, WA. A local reception is planned for
Sunday, May 3, from 3-5 p.m. at Heppner City Park. Rain
location will be in the Heppner Seventh-day Adventist
Church gymnasium. Friends and relatives are invited to
the casual meet-and-greet event; light refreshments will
be served.
The couple is registered at REI; Bed, Bath and Be-
yond; Macy’s; and Williams-Sonoma.
