work so hard every year to
help organize the annual
Wee Bit O’ Ireland St.
Patrick’s celebration. This
year required even more
volunteers because new
activities were developed,
which added to the total
event being so successful.
We heard that we needed
more youth and children
activities and a committee
worked endlessly to make
that happen. We have
volunteers that have been
involved for many years
and we count on them to
do what they have done so
well for so long.
For fear of forgetting
someone (because there
are so many behind the
scenes) on behalf of the
St. Patrick’s committee,
we want to thank everyone
who served, volunteered,
participated in the events,
supported the event with a
financial donation or their
time! This is a community
event and couldn’t be
accomplished without each
of the community members
who are dedicated to make
it happen every year! So

Skyler Hawk’s last Friday

Skyler was one of 300 choir
students chosen out of 6,000
students to travel to Europe
July 3rd-18th, 2015, under
the guidance of the music
director at Lewis & Clark
college in Portland. The
group will be performing in
England, France, Germany,
Switzerland, Italy, Austria
and Lichtenstein and he
will travel to Lewis & Clark
college in Walla Walla for
four practices prior to their
departure in July. The total
he needs to earn for this
amazing trip of a life time
is $6,750, of which, he
has raised about $3,000.
