Two-day tournament leaves Mustang softball 1-4 for the season Heppner softball is 1-4 for the season after suf- fering three disappointing losses in the Heppner Tour- nament last week. It was a two-day soft- ball tournament Wednesday and Thursday, March 25- 26, for the Mustangs with Heppner playing Knappa and Clatskanie. Echo visited on Wednesday and Pendle- ton JV took their place on Thursday. On Wednesday Hep- pner defeated Clatskanie, 2-1. Wednesday vs. Clats- kanie, Morgan Correa went two for three with two sin- gles and Jessica Kempken added a double. Also on Wednesday, Knappa defeated Heppner 12-0. Wednesday vs. Knap- pa, Rylee Kollman went 2 for 2 with a single and a triple and Caitlynn Bailey added a single. Thursday Knappa de- feated Heppner 5-2.
