port, however someone was

of a cow walking in the
road on Washington in Ir-
rigon. MCSO was unable
to locate.
-MCSO received re-
port of a red passenger car
east-bound on I-84 Board-
man, in and out of lanes of
travel going about 70 mph
and swerving all over the
road. MCSO was unable
to locate.
-Boardman Police De-
partment received report of
an 11-year-old girl in a red
Mickey Mouse shirt with
black pants and one green
sock on, but no shoes say-
ing she was running away.
The report was under inves-
tigation.
-BPD received report
from a man that his cell
phone was stolen from
his residence the previous
Sunday.
-BPD received report
of a possible “cold” rape
at Wilson Rd. Trailer Park.
-Boardman Fire De-
partment received report
of a fire on I-84 E in the
median. Boardman Fire
Department and MCSO
responded, but were unable
to find anything.
-Ione Ambulance, Hep-
pner Ambulance received
report of a subject who had
sist, but had no injuries. The
subject refused transport.
-Heppner Fire Depart-
ment received a flood alarm
for seven miles up Hinton
Creek. It was a false alarm.
-MCSO received re-
port that Hermiston Police
Department arrested Ro-
berta Lynn Manning, 27,
on a warrant for Failure to
Appear/Theft II, Criminal
Trespass II and Escape III.
Bail was set at $35,000.
She was also arrested on a
warrant for Failure to Ap-
pear/Failure to Appear with
$5,000 bail. She was lodged
at Umatilla County Jail with
a total bail of $40,000.
-MCSO received report
of a man in a Volkswagen
Jetta hitting a black bear
on Hwy. 244. The call was
referred to another agency.
-MCSO received re-
port of a residence broken
into on Columbia Lane in
Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
of a man walking along
the freeway yelling and
gesturing.
-MCSO received report
of a man driving an SUV
and pulling a 17-foot travel
trailer on the shoulder on
I-84 E with his right axle
sitting on the ground.
-MCSO received report
of a disturbance at Howe’s
Pizza in Heppner.
-MCSO received report
of a detention warrant ar-
rest on W. Seventh Road in
Irrigon.
September 12: Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Of-
fice received report from a
woman in Heppner that it
sounded like someone was
up on her roof. She did not
want contact, but wanted
extra patrol in the area.
-MCSO received report
of a four-wheeler driving
around the hillside behind
the caller’s house on Wil-
low view Drive in Heppner.
her neighbor and that it hap-
pens frequently, which was
very disruptive because it’s
in the middle of the night.
MCSO responded

of a lot of black smoke in
the area near Finley Buttes
Landfill.
-MCSO received report
from a woman who said
she wrecked her car trying
to avoid hitting a deer at
Anson Wright Park. The car
was towed.
-MCSO received report
of a broken out window on
a train engine at the tracks
at the end of Olson Rd.
-MCSO received report
of kids on a four-wheel-
er and a motorcycle. The
caller said he wanted them
talked to about riding in the
area. MCSO spoke to all
parties involved and they
said they would not be rid-
ing on the road any longer.
-MCSO received report
of three units broken into
at Christine’s Mini Stor-
age on East Hwy. 730. The
incident was under inves-
tigation.
-MCSO received report
that a belly dump semi
lost a whole load of gravel
on the freeway on I-84 E.
MCSO and Oregon State
Police responded.
-MCSO received report
that a kid broke a window
and was trapped between
two doors at the Oregon
Trail Library on Main St.
in Heppner. MCSO re-
sponded.
-MCSO received re-
port of a Toyota Camry
with Utah plates swerving
all over the road on I-84
Boardman. The call was
referred to another agency.
-MCSO received report
of four bulls close to the
tracks south of I-84. MCSO
was unable to locate the
bulls.
-MCSO received report
open in the area of the
caller’s house. MCSO re-
sponded and made contact
with the cat’s owner who
said they would take the cat
to the vet.
-MCSO received report
of yelling and possibly a
restraining order between
the male and female par-
ties at the house on Kanga-
roo Court Lane in Irrigon.
MCSO responded, but was
unable to locate anything.
-MCSO received report
from a Boardman woman
that she heard what sound-
ed like six gunshots east
of her. Boardman Police
Department and MCSO
responded, but were unable
to locate anything.
-MCSO received report
of a one-vehicle accident
with unknown injuries.
Boardman Fire Depart-
ment, Boardman Ambu-
lance, Boardman Police
Department and MCSO
responded and transported
one patient to Good Shep-
herd Hospital in Hermiston.
September 13: MCSO
received report from a sub-
ject in Irrigon that the last
couple nights someone has
pounded on the outside
of her home and tonight
they came up on the deck
and pounded on the house
again. A deputy made con-
tact and requested extra
patrol.
-MCSO received report
of excess activity on Char-
ity Loop in Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
of a van driving very slow
with their flashers on on
I-84 Boardman. OSP was
advised.
-MCSO received a re-
port from a subject that their
roommate did not arrive at
home at the usual time Fri-
day night. He was located
at his place of employment.
-MCSO received report
of a motor vehicle accident
tion. A deputy responded
and assisted in getting the
vehicle back on the road.
The driver did not need an
ambulance.
-MCSO received report
of a Chihuahua/Dachshund
puppy at the tree farm on
I-84 E. The person who
found the puppy said she
listed it in the classifieds,
but if no one responded
she would put it up for
adoption.
-MCSO received report
of a car being driven er-
ratically near Sand Hollow/
Hwy. 207. The driver said
he was headed to Pendle-
ton, but the car was over-
heating so he turned around
to go back to Heppner and
was waiting for the engine
to cool down.
-MCSO received report
from a woman in Irrigon
that the tires on her vehicle
were slashed sometime
that morning. She said she
woke up early and her gate
was closed, but when she
got up later, it was open. A
deputy responded to take
the report.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner woman
that her female red heeler
ran off.
-MCSO received re-
quest from a Heppner wom-
an for a welfare check on
her neighbors whose dog
had been barking for the
past 30 minutes, which
was very out of character.
MCSO and contacted the
neighbor’s son who said he
would contact his parents to
have them come home and
quiet the dog.
-MCSO received report
of four cars with blowouts
on I-84 Boardman.
-MCSO received report
from a woman in Hep-
pner that her son took her
tv and left it at someone
else’s house and that person
would not give it back. A
September 17: -Mor-
row County Sheriff’s Office
received report of a shop
half burned, garbage debris
and a derelict RV in Board-
man. MCSO Deputy was to
investigate a code incident
at the location.
-MCSO received report
of suspicious activity at the
Heppner golf course.
-MCSO received report
of a female on a bicycle
weaving in and out of traffic
on Hwy. 730 Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
of an Irrigon woman who
had multiple dog bites that
need sutures.
-MCSO received report
from of someone who was
cleaning out a house and
found mercury in Hep-
pner. The woman wanted to
know where to take it.
-MCSO received report
from a woman in Irrigon
that a male and a female
were inside her grandmoth-
er’s house and she did not
want them there. MCSO
responded and a vehicle re-
ported stolen out of Pendle-
ton Police Department was
recovered. MCSO arrested
Claudia Lomas, 26, for
Unauthorized Use of a Mo-
tor Vehicle, Driving While
Suspended-misdemeanor
and Criminal Trespass I.
Bail was set at $19,500.
She was also arrested on
a Umatilla County circuit
court warrant for Failure
to Appear/DUII, Reckless-
ly endangering Another,
Driving While Suspended-
misdemeanor and Provid-
ing False Information to a
Police Officers. She was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with no bail. MCSO
also arrested Coady Hep-
ton, 24, for Possession of
a Controlled Substance-
methamphetamine and
Criminal Trespass I. He was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with $13,500 bail.
