August 20: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived report of a Plymouth
van off the side of the road
on Sand Hollow Rd., Hep-
pner, with damage to the
road and the vehicle.
-MCSO received re-
port of one horse and two
bulls in the caller’s yard on
Wilson Lane, Boardman,
tearing up the yard. MCSO
issued a citation for Live-
stock at Large.
-MCSO received re-
port of a criminal mischief
complaint on Chase St. in
Heppner.
-MCSO received re-
port of a theft and use of a
checkbook on Homestead
Lane in Boardman. The vic-
tim was a sheepherder who
did not speak English well.
-MCSO received report
that someone dropped a dog
off in their backyard on
Idaho Ave. in Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
that Umatilla County Sher-
iff’s Office arrested Clifford
Eugene Bradley, 48, on a
Morrow County warrant
for Probation Violation/
Unlawful Possession of
Methamphetamine. He was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with no bail.
-MCSO received report
of animal cruelty at the Ir-
rigon Marina.
-MCSO received report
of suspicious activity on
Rand Rd. in Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
of a possibly intoxicated
person weaving all over the
road on I-84, Boardman.
August 21: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received report of gunshots
on Estate Loop in Irrigon. A
deputy as unable to locate
any evidence of gunshots
and believed it was fire-
works.
-MCSO received report
of a dozen black Angus
cows on the road at the Mor-
row County Fairgrounds in
Heppner. A deputy respond-
ed and determined that a
ranch employee had them
off the road and up the hill.
-MCSO received report
of someone who shot his
firearm on Country Gar-
den Rd., Irrigon. Someone
who was outside saw the
concerned because it was
becoming a safety issue and
it was at 2:30 a.m.
-MCSO received report
from a subject on Hwy. 730/
Paterson Ferry Rd., Irrigon,
that someone tried to run
him off the road. MCSO
responded.
-MCSO arrested Am-
ber Dawn Dima, 29, on a
Heppner Circuit Court war-
rant for Failure to Appear/
Assault 4 and Harassment.
She was lodged at Umatilla
County Jail with $10,000
bail.
-MCSO received nu-
merous 911 hangup/aban-
doned calls. It was deter-
mined to be CenturyLink
testing the phone lines.
-MCSO received re-
port of people parked in a
handicapped space at the
gas station in Heppner.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man that his
golf cart was stolen from
his son’s residence. MCSO
responded.
-MCSO received report
that a Boardman Police Of-
ficer was out with a found
wallet.
-MCSO received report
that a man was running
around the park in Irrigon
the previous night. The
caller said the man walked
into his house at 10:45 that
night, demanding a beer.
He said he kicked the man
out, but he stared throwing
rocks at his trailer, then
went to the bathrooms and
kicked a female out. MCSO
responded.
-MCSO received report
of hay bales in the road and
people swerving at Bunker
Hill Lane and Hwy. 74,
Heppner.
-MCSO received report
from a subject in Irrigon
who said a female brought a
dog to her house that didn’t
belong to her and it bites.
The dog was transported.
-MCSO Deputy initi-
ated activity at a house on
Elder St. in Heppner with
stray cats at the address.
MCSO responded and left
a trap.
-MCSO received report
that the caller’s neighbor’s
garbage can was out by the
road and had not been col-
lected, with the bags start-
ing to rip and trash blowing
around.
-MCSO received report
of a stop sign on Fourth Rd.
and Oregon Lane in Irrigon
hanging upside down by
one bolt.
-MCSO received report
of a woman in her late 20s
or early 30s wandering
around at the Irrigon Fish
Hatchery looking for a gas
station.
-MCSO received report
of suspicious activity at the
Irrigon Fish Hatchery.
August 22: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived reports of someone
placing cones across the

of two pit bulls attacking
each other. MCSO respond-
ed, but there were no dogs
fighting when they arrived.
-MCSO received report
of a child in a car being
towed at the Boardman
east-bound rest area.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner subject
that he has a feral cat in a
trap and also two kittens.
He requested that they be
transported to Pet Rescue.
-MCSO received report
of a group of kittens living
under some decking at the
old Sentry Market in Ir-
rigon.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner woman that
she believed someone was
trying to scam her.
-MCSO arrested Rus-
sell Gene Whitbeck, 54,
on an Irrigon Justice Court
warrant for Failure to Ap-
pear/Criminal Mischief II,
Theft II, Criminal Tres-
pass II. He was lodged at
Umatilla County Jail with
$6,000 fail.
-MCSO received report
from a woman on Little
Butter Creek Rd. that a blue
Ford pickup almost ran her
off the road, possibly head-
ing toward Heppner.
-MCSO received report
of an intoxicated man walk-
ing around with a pistol
near Paterson Ferry Rd.,
Irrigon. MCSO responded
and made contact with him.
-MCSO received report
of juvenile subjects play-
ing a boom box at the new
Heppner basketball court.
The caller requested deputy
contact. MCSO was unable
to locate the subjects.
-MCSO received report
of two males trying to steal
the caller’s dog out of his
yard on Eighth St. in Ir-
rigon. He said that when
he came outside, they left
on foot, headed toward the
post office. MCSO was un-
able to locate the males.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman
that she just caught a sub-
ject putting graffiti on her
house. She said that two ran
to the car and one of them
was already in the car.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman that
she saw two subjects at the
mini storage and with the
break-in the previous week,
she was concerned that they
shouldn’t be there.
-MCSO received report
of two gun shots at the
Maple Crest Apartments in
Boardman. She reported a
baby crying for around 20
minutes also. An officer
responded and found that
fireworks were being set
off.
-Boardman Fire De-
partment received report of
a smoke plume around four
miles south of Boardman.
-Heppner Fire Depart-
ment, Ione Fire Department
assistance from the Herm-
iston Fire Department for
a fire located on Hwy. 730
and Hwy. 37.
-Heppner Fire Depart-
ment received report of
a fire behind a Lexing-
ton residence with lots of
smoke and no one around.
The caller said it looked
like a controlled burn, but
no one was around.
-Irrigon Ambulance re-
ceived report of a 67-year-
old female who had fallen
in the pasture south of her
residence. The caller ad-
vised that she was sitting
up, but was unable to get
up. The subject refused
transport.
-Irrigon Fire Depart-
ment received report of a
yard debris fire and a sub-
ject out with the fire.
August 24: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received report of several
subjects outside fighting
in Boardman. One with a
handgun was looking for
a subject who lives next
to the caller. She said he
wanted inside her residence
and said there were several
males trying to jump him.
She said she closed the
door and did not let him in.
Boardman Police Depart-
ment responded, but was
unable to locate the subject.
-MCSO received report
of a burglar alarm on Main
St. in Lexington.
-MCSO received report
of a suicidal subject in Ir-
rigon. The caller said her
mother had been messaging
her on Facebook saying that
she was going to take all of
her medicine. She requested
that someone check on her
mom and make sure she
was okay. A deputy made
contact.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon subject
that the neighbor’s pit bull
jumped in their van and
wouldn’t come out. She
said that the week before it
tried to kill the neighbor’s
sheep. The dog owner was
warned that if it happened
again, a citation would be
issued.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man that
a dog running loose was
upsetting his cows and he
wanted a deputy to pick it
up so it wouldn’t bother the
cows any more.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon subject
that a male slept on his
couch the previous night,
but when he told the male
that he needed to leave, the
guy started throwing things
and yelling. And then left
the residence.
-MCSO received report
of two cows out on Hwy. 74
Lexington.
-MCSO received report
of three horses in a yard on
Eastregaard Rd.
-MCSO received re-
port of suspicious activity
from her house on Main St.
in Heppner and then left on
foot toward the elementary
school. MCSO responded,
but was unable to locate
anything.

lance received report of an
83-year-old woman who
was very week and had had
a pacemaker replacement.
She was transported to the
hospital.
-Ione Ambulance re-
ceived report of an elderly
female with knee pain.
She was transported to the
hospital.
-Irrigon Ambulance re-
ceived report of a 98-year-
old woman dizzy, with
blurred vision. She was
transported.
-Irrigon Ambulance re-
ceived report of a 55-year-
old female who was dizzy
and diabetic. She was trans-
ported to the hospital.
August 25: -Morrow
County Sheriff’s Office re-
ceived report from a Board-
man woman that a male was
trying to rent a residence
that was for sale and was
running a scan to try to get
her to send him a deposit.
He said if she did, he would
send her the keys. She said
she contacted the realtor
who confirmed it was a
scam and told her to call the
sheriff’s office.
-MCSO received report
that a male in Irrigon was
threatening to harm a fam-
ily. She advised who the
male was.
-MCSO received report
of a stolen stop sign in Ir-
rigon.
-MCSO received report
of a vehicle driving er-
ratically on I-84/Paterson
Ferry.
-MCSO received re-
quest for the Heppner Fire
Chief to page the fire de-
partment and EMS to se-
cure the landing zone at
Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Heppner Fire Department
and Ambulance responded.
-MCSO received report
from an Ione woman that
her neighbor arrived home
and shot a gun. She believes
he may have shot the fun to
quiet her dogs which were
barking. MCSO responded
and determine the gun was
a potato gun.
-MCSO received report
of dogs running loose on
I-84 and almost causing
accidents.
-MCSO received report
of a vehicle on I-84 pull-
ing out in front of people
and then slamming on his
brakes. The call was trans-
ferred to Umatilla County
dispatch.
-MCSO received re-
port of a vehicle failing to
maintain a single lane of
traffic on Hwy. 74. MCSO
responded and followed the
vehicle for several miles
and found no problems with
the vehicle failing to main-
of the Irrigon county yard
padlock malfunctioning.
-MCSO received report
from a restaurant in Irrigon
that someone used her trash
can for their trash.
-MCSO received report
of a bunch of high school
kids trying to damage the
phone booth and restrooms
at the Boardman rest area.
-MCSO received report
of a burglar alarm/motion
detector at A.C. Houghton
Elementary
August 27: -Morrow
County Sheriff ’s Office
received report from a Hep-
pner resident that he was
selling a pickup and the
subject mailed him a check
but the check was no good.
He wanted to know what he
could do about it.
-MCSO was advised
of an emergency medical
situation in Boardman. A
female in the parking lot at
the location was possibly
having a heart attack. Irri-
gon ambulance responded
and transported the female
to Good Shepherd Medical
Center.
-A woman advised
MCSO she picked up a dog
on Highway 207 between
Ruggs and Porcupine Lane.
Dog was at Dr. Temple’s
veterinary clinic and they
would like it transported to
Pet Rescue. Dog was black,
similar to a Lab but possibly
a German shorthair; male
about 60 pounds, not fixed.
MCSO transported the dog
to Pet Rescue.
-MCSO received a re-
port of loud screaming and
doors slamming in Hep-
pner.
-A reporting person
in Irrigon advised MCSO
that a male subject had
been walking around the
neighborhood looking into
people’s houses and walk-
ing onto people’s proper-
ties. He had been walking
through the empty field
frequently. Caller gave a
subject description and ad-
vised the male goes down
to the “drug house” on the
next block down.
August 28: -MCSO re-
ceived a report of a domes-
tic disturbance in Heppner.
Caller said she was walking
by a residence and could
hear two people screaming
at each other; advised that it
was very loud and sounded
like a female and another
female or a young male.
A deputy responded and
determined it to be verbal
only.
-A caller from Irrigon
advised MCSO that a fawn
was running around get-
ting into people’s yards.
Caller did not see the fawn’s
mother.
-A brush fire was re-
ported on Corps of En-
gineers property by the
river in Irrigon. Irrigon Fire,
Boardman Fire and MCSO
responded.
