    Day care gives thanks with
family feast
Heppner DayCare, Inc. celebrated Thanksgiving last Thursday with its annual fall dinner.
The meal was well-attended by day care children and their families, as well as staff and board
members, who shared a Thanksgiving feast and were able to enjoy arts and crafts and a per­
formance by the day care’s three- and four-year-old preschoolers. Pictured are preschoolers

CORE Training is set for
Tuesday, Dec. 16, from
9:45 a.m. - 3 p.m. The
Morrow County Extension
Service will be a participat­
ing site for this free training
session that will be deliv­
ered via video-conference.
The course is divided
into two two-hour sessions,
which allows participation
in either morning or after­
noon session (two credits
each) or both sessions (four
credits total). Oregon pesti­
cide applicator re-certifica­
tion credits earned during
this training will count
either as CORE or general
credits.

County clerk’s office
closed for Thanksgiving
The Morrow County Clerk Bobbi Childers has an­
nounced that the clerk’s office will be closed Thursday,
Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, for the Thanksgiving holi­
day. Normal hours will resume Monday, Dec. 1. They
wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Willow Creek Baptist Church members will serve
lunch on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at St. Patrick’s Senior
Center. The meal will include ham, scalloped potatoes,
mixed vegetables, pineapple salsa, hot rolls, and chocolate
mousse. Milk is served at each meal. Menu is subject to
change.
