Shankle, 64, was convicted
of one count of Possession
o f M ethamphetamine, a
Class C felony reduced to
a Class A misdemeanor.
The defendant was sen
tenced to 180 days jail
time; however, execution
of incarceration was sus
pended and the defendant
sentenced to 24 months
bench probation, conditions
of probation to include 120
hours of community service
and substance abuse evalu
ation and recommended
treatment. Fines, fees and
assessments totaled $2,000.
-Edwin Phillip Himm-
erich, 42, was convicted of
one count of harassment, A

in labor, 38 weeks along,
whose water broke and was
having contractions three-
four minutes apart. Irrigon
Ambulance and Morrow

responded. She was trans
ported to Good Shepherd
Hospital in Hermiston.
-Irrigon Ambulance
received report o f an el
derly female with chest
pain. Irrigon Ambulance
responded and transported
to Good Shepherd Hospi
tal in Hermiston. She was
transferred to Life Flight.
-Irrigon Fire Depart
ment received report of
someone burning between
the fish hatchery and the
grain elevators, with the
fire smoldering. Irrigon Fire
Department responded.

report o f an 80-year-old
male who had a seizure on
Blackhorse Canyon Lane.
The man was breathing,
but unconscious. Heppner
Ambulance and Lexington
QRT responded and trans
ported him to Pioneer Me
morial Hospital in Heppner.

for an ambulance for a
48-year-old female with a
blood sugar count of over
400. lone Ambulance and
Oregon State Police re
sponded and the woman
was transported to Pioneer
Memorial Hospital.

weeks pregnant, in labor.
She was transported.
-Boardman Ambulance
received request for an am
bulance for a 39-year-old
male who was vomiting.
Boardman Ambulance and
Boardman Police respond
ed and transported him to
Good Shepherd Hospital in
Hermiston.
-Boardman Ambulance
received report of a small
car on the side of the road in
the ditch on 1-84 Boardman.
It was determined to not be
a crash, but an abandoned
vehicle. Boardman Fire
Department and Boardman
Ambulance stood down.

an 11 -month old baby who
began shaking. The caller
was not sure if the child,
who has medical problems,
had a seizure. He was con
scious.
-Morrow County Sher
iffs Office received report
of two males fighting in
the road on 12th Street in
Irrigon. MCSO and Board-
man Police Departm ent
responded. The males ad
vised that they were horsing
around and neither wanted
to press charges.
-MCSO received report
of two males fighting in a
garage on 1st St. and Park
Ave. in Boardman. Officers
responded and determined
that no fight had occurred.
It was just people celebrat
ing, although several were
intoxicated.
-MCSO received report
o f suspicious activity on
Baltimore St. in Heppner.
The caller said that two
male subjects were knock
ing on doors, looking for
someone. The males were
wearing orange and carry
ing a tool box. A deputy
checked the area, but was
unable to locate anyone.
-MCSO received report
of a dead deer lying in the
road on Hwy. 730, Irrigon.
The caller was connected to
Oregon State Police.
-MCSO received report
of a disturbance at Colum
bia River Ranch on Kunze
Lane, Boardman. A resident
at the ranch was upset and
threatening other residents
and staff with harm.
-MCSO received report
of graffiti at the Kegler’s
building in Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
from a subject at the Oregon
Trail RV Park in Irrigon that
people at the location tore
things up. The caller said
she evicted them and they
were packing up to leave,
but she requested deputy
contact. MCSO assisted the
subjects who were leaving
in finding a more “family-
friendly" location.
-MCSO received report
of a subject in a red Chevy
Col or ado truck flying
down the road and sliding.
The caller said the subject
jumped out of his truck and
ran into his house. MCSO
responded.
-MCSO initiated nu
merous civil service at
tempts in Irrigon.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner woman
that her friend in a travel
trailer up Rhea Creek had
six baby rattlesnakes crawl
up his legs. It was unknown
if he was bitten. She said he
advised her that he was fine,
but she wanted someone to
check on him.
-MCSO received report
of a theft on Seventh Rd.,
Irrigon. The caller said
that three subjects showed
up at her house at 3 a.m.
advising her that the plates
off her Ford pickup were
missing. She said they were
on her vehicle when she
had left that morning. She
requested phone contact
from a deputy.
-MCSO received report
of a full-sized black Dodge
with a lift on it with no
muffler that was going up
and down Wagon Wheel in
Irrigon loudly.
- MCSO received re
port from an Irrigon man
that he was concerned about
his one-year-old daughter,
who is with her mother and
still breast feeding. He was
afraid that she was not safe
because the mother kept go
ing out drinking. He called
back to advise to cancel the
call because he said he had
the wrong information.
-MCSO received re
quest from Oregon State
Police for access to the In-
toxilyzer. A deputy assisted
an OSP Trooper in using the
Intoxilyzer.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman that
her two daughters were
fighting. MCSO and Board-
man Police responded.

County Sheriff’s Office re
ceived report of a calf stolen
on Wilson Lane in Board-
man. The callers requested
phone contact.
-MCSO received report
o f suspicious activity on
Washington Ave. in Irrigon
with two males in an older
blue Metro in front of the
caller’s house, who then
backed off.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man that
a subject drove through a
trailer park at a high rate
o f speed. The caller said
he confronted the subject
and they got into a verbal
dispute, but then separated.
-MCSO received report
of a dead deer on Hwy 74,
lone.
-M CSO D eputy ad-
vised he was with a male
who was out walking on
Hwy. 74, lone, because he
had gotten into a fight with
his mother. The male caught
up to the mother, who was
just down the road in a ve
hicle, and they left.
-MCSO received re
port of three motorcycles
speeding past the caller’s
residence on Hwy. 74,
lone, heading toward 1-84.
MCSO responded, stopped
the vehicles, and warned
them for speed.
-MCSO received report
of a domestic disturbance
on 1-84 at the Boardman
rest area. The call was re
ferred to another agency.
-MCSO received report
of an irrigation pipe spray
ing water over two lanes of
traffic on 1-84 Boardman.
-MCSO received report
from a security company of
a burglar alarm at Heppner
Elementary School. It was
a false alarm.
-MCSO received re
quest for contact concern
ing custody issues from an
Irrigon man.
-MCSO received sev
eral 911 hang-up calls.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man that
another subject who caused
a big scene at the Irrigon
Shell station was walking
away heading west. The
caller wanted the subject
and his wife trespassed
from the station.
-MCSO received report
from a woman in Boardman
who advised that someone
was following her and she
was afraid that her husband
was going to try to kill her.
A deputy made contact and

was also contacted. She
was transported to Good
Shepherd Hospital and then
McNary.
-MCSO received re
quest from OSP for assis
tance for a Trooper on 1-84.
-MCSO arrested Rich
ard Allen Dunn, 62, for
Harassment. He was lodged
at Umatilla County Jail with
$3,000 bail.
-MCSO, Irrigon Am
bulance received request
for an am bulance for a
46-year-old male in Irrigon
with a deep cut to his right
hand. Irrigon Ambulance
responded and transported
the subject to Good Shep
herd Hospital in Hermiston.
