DA’s Report
Morrow County Dis­
trict Attorney Justin Nelson
has released the following
report:
-Jean
Jacquez
Blondeau, 44, was con­
victed of Failure to Appear
I, a Class C felony, and
sentenced to 45 days jail
time with credit for time
served, sentence to run con­
current with the following
case. Defendant was also
sentenced to two years post­
prison supervision, subject
to additional imprisonment
in case of supervision viola­
tion. Fines, fees and assess­
ments totaled $200.
-Jean
Jacquez
Blondeau, 44, was con­
victed o f Possession o f
Methamphetamine, a class
C felony, and sentenced to
six months driver’s license
suspension and 45 days jail
time with credit for time
served, sentence to run
concurrent with the previ­
ous case. Defendant was
also sentenced to one year
post-prison supervision, to
include substance abuse
evaluation and subject to
additional imprisonment in
case of supervision viola­
tion. Fines, fees and assess­
ments totaled $200.
-Robert Shane Laugh-
lin was found guilty o f
probation violation; the
defendant’s probation was
extended and additional
conditions imposed, includ­
ing drug and alcohol evalu­
ation to be done within 30
days. Fines, fees and assess­
ments totaled $25.
-Joel Ernesto Rodri­
guez was found guilty of
probation violation. The
defendant was sentenced
to continued probation with
the addition of 15 days of
previously suspended jail
time, to run consecutive to
any other sentence. Fines,
fees and assessments to­
taled $25.
-Amber Dawn Dima,
28, was convicted of Failure
to Appear 11, A class A mis­
demeanor. Defendant was
sentenced to 180 days jail
time; however, execution of
jail time was suspended and
the defendant sentenced to
24 months bench proba­
tion, to include 40 hours of
community service and a
written letter of apology to
the victim. Fines, fees and
assessments totaled $600.
An additional count of FTA
II was disposed without
conviction.
Sheriff's Report
M ay 11: The Morrow
County Sheriff's Office re­
ceived report from an Irrigon
female that her brother was
drunk and was hitting things.
MCSO responded and gave
him a ride to the Irrigon Shell
station. They advised her to
call back if he came back
to the residence or had any
more problems.
-MCSO received re­
port that a trailer in Board-
man was on fire. Boardman
Fire Department, Boardman
Ambulance, Irrigon Rural
Fire Department and MCSO
responded.
-MCSO received re­
port of from an Irrigon man
that his neighbor’s dog had
been barking the last four
hours. He said that he tried to
talk to the neighbor, but the
neighbor only yelled at him
through the door. A deputy
responded and the dog was
put in the trailer.
-MCSO received re­
port from Pioneer Memo­
rial Hbspital in Heppner of a
male subject with a gunshot
wound from an accidental
discharge.
-MCSO received re­
port from a bartender on
Hwy.730, Irrigon, that a cus­
tomer’s car was hit while the
customer was in the lounge.
He requested a deputy to
take the report. A deputy re­
sponded.
-MCSO received re­
quest from Pioneer Memorial
Hospital for tone outs for
transport and landing zone
security. Heppner Ambu­
lance transported and MCSO
secured the landing zone.
-MCSO received report
that Oregon State Police ar­
rested Latishia Rodriguez,
32, on an Irrigon Justice
Court warrant for Failure to
Appear/Failure to Appear.
She was lodged at Umatilla
County Jail.
-MCSO received report
from a man on Little Butter
Creek Rd„ Heppner that he
had seen a yellow airplane
flying in one of the canyons
shooting at something. He
said that when they saw him,
they headed west.
-MCSO cited Sydney
Rae Reagan, 45, for Viola­
tion of the Basic Rule, 73
mph in a 55 mph zone.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman that
her son was out of control
and was threatening to beat
up her husband. A deputy re­
sponded and was to forward
the information on to the DA.
-MCSO arrested Rus­
sell Gene Whitbeck, 54, on
a Umatilla County Circuit
Court warrant for Failure
to Appear/Possession of
Methamphetamine. He was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with $15,000 bail.
-MCSO cited Georgina
Gonzalez, 49, for No Opera­
tor’s License, Unlawful Use
of Lights/high beams.
-Heppner Ambulance
received a request from Pio­
neer Memorial Hospital for
a transport from PMH to
Kadlec in Tri-Cities. Hep­
pner Ambulance responded
and transported.
-Heppner Ambulance
received request for an am­
bulance for a six-year-old
who flew off a horse and hit a
metal gate on Hwy. 74-Lena.
The child was conscious,
but had an injury to the right
arm. Heppner Ambulance
responded but the parent
refused transport.
-Boardman Fire Depart­
ment received request for
agency assist for mutual aid
for a fire in Irrigon. BFD was
advised to step down. It was
a false alarm.
M ay 12: Morrow Coun­
ty Sheriff’s Office reported
assisting another agency with
a DUII arrest.
-MCSO received report
from the undersheriff that a
calf was out on Wilson Lane/
Peters Rd. in Boardman. The
owner arrived and put the
calf back in.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman that
she was selling her vehicle to
a neighbor who missed a pay­
ment, was late with the cur­
rent month’s payment and,
she believed, had moved.
She requested MCSO con­
tact. MCSO responded and
advised it was a civil matter.
-MCSO received report
of a black cow in the east-
bound land of traffic on Hwy.
74, Heppner. The cow was
located and put back in the
pasture and the owner was
advised.
-MCSO deputy reported
he was out with a disabled
vehicle in Heppner. Help ar­
rived to get the vehicle to an
auto repair shop.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man of iden­
tity theft on his 2013 taxes.
MCSO responded.
-MCSO received re­
port of yard debris on fire
on Bombing Range Rd. in
Boardman. MCSO, Board-
man Fire Department and
Station & were paged.
-MCSO received report
from the Boardman Fire De­
partment of vehicles passing
in excess of the speed limit.
MCSO responded and spoke
to the owner, who said he
would speak to his drivers.
-MCSO deputy reported
he was out with a subject on
Hwy. 730 with a flat tire on
his bike waiting for a ride to
The Dalles.
-MCSO received in­
quiry from a male subject
in Irrigon concerning an
abandoned RV left in the
Bake’s parking lot. He said
it had been tagged for tow
and then a sign was placed
in the window stating the
RV was free. He said he took
possession of the trailer and
wanted to get information to
make sure there was no lien.
MCSO made contact.
-M CSO cited Gary
Lloyd Moe, 65, for Failure
to Obey a Traffic Control
Device/stop sign.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman that
her teenage son had run
away and was possibly at a
location. MCSO responded,
but the child was not at the
location.
-MCSO received report
from a woman who said her
son was sick and vomiting,
but refused medical treat­
ment and did not want an
ambulance.

feed and auction is just
around the comer, on Oct.
4. Auction organizers are
busy gathering donations
for display in the window
of the fabric store on Main
Street. Several items have
already been collected and
they will continue to add
to the display up until the
event. Dinner tickets are
on sale now at M urray’s
Drug and Bank of Eastern
Oregon and will also be
available at the door on the
night of the event. They are
$15 per person or $65 per
family (limit 8).
Dinner will begin at
6:30 p.m. with the auction
and raffle drawings to begin
at 7:30.

ety of donations, definitely
something for everyone!
There are some of the fa­
vorites from years past, as
well as new surprises and
exciting packages that we
haven't had before” stated
an organizer.
