The 4-H Snack Shack
provides the major source
of income for the Morrow
County 4-H Leaders Council.
The council uses this income
to provide such programs
as 4-H camp, 4-H awards
and Achievement Night,
scholarships, and materials
for all 4-H program areas. All
4-H members benefit from the
proceeds that are earned by
the Snack Shack.
Many 4-H parents and
leaders help in the Snack Shack
at fair. There are also a few
businesses that have served in
the snack shack year after year
on specific days; a big thank
you goes out to the continued
support that 4-H receives
from the Morrow County
Grain Growers and their
Wednesday shift, the Bank
of Eastern Oregon and their
Thursday shift and other local
businesses like the NRCS and
4-H Snack Shack
SWCD that are also starting
to make a snack shack shift
part of their annual service.
They do this because they
understand how important
the proceeds are to the 4-H
program. “The income earned
is invaluable to our program
