Correction
An article in last week’s Gazette-Times incorrectly
stated that the Heppner Rural Fire Department was
looking to build a new facility in Heppner. The Heppner
Rural Fire Protection District is not connected with the
new facility. The district is a separate entity from the
Heppner Fire Department and contracts for fire protection
from the Heppner Fire Department.
