The fam ily o f Kevin
Bristow wishes to thank
the Heppner and lone
co m m unities for the
hospitality and compassion
they have shown to us
during this difficult time.
The outpouring of prayers,
flowers, cards and food has
been so appreciated.
Kevin was bom in lone
and lived here until moving
to Portland. The wonderful
memories of his childhood
spent in lone and Heppner
have brought him home
again.
Words are not enough to
show our thanks to Saint
Patricks Church, Rev.
Kumar and Rev. Condon for
the beautiful service. The
music selections were some
of the family's favorites
and we wish to thank Joe
L indsay and Deborah
Wryn. Thanks to the Elks
BPOE 358 for hosting
Kevin's celebration of life,
we couldn't have asked for
a more perfect venue. The
Elks Ladies led by Judy
Buschke did a fabulous
job of decorating the room,
preparing and serving a
delicious meal and making
every one feel so welcomed.
We were overwhelmed by
the salads and desserts that
were prepared by friends,
family, and volunteers
and we want to thank all
of you for your kindness.
Special thanks to Pat and
Trisha Sweeney for the
support and patience that
you have offered the family
while taking care of all the
arrangements.
Stairway To Heaven
If tears could build a
stairway, and memories a
lane.
I would walk right up to
Heaven and bring you back
again.
My heart still aches with
sadness and secret tears
still flow.
What it meant to love you-
no one can eveq know.
But now I know you want
me to mourn for you no
more;
to remember all the happy
times, life still has much
in store.
Since you'll never be
forgotten. 1 pledge to you
today- a hallowed place
within my heart is where
you'll always stay.
Thank you,
The Bristow Family
