The Heppner Chamber of Commerce and St. Patrick’s
committee are planning a St. Pat’s wrap-up meeting for
event organizers Tuesday, April 1, at 6 p.m. in the Heppner
City Hall conference room. The group will review each
of the weekend's events one at a time to determine what
went well and what could be better.
Pizza and beverages will be provided; those planning
on attending are asked to RSVP with Sheryll Bates at the
Heppner chamber.
4-H club learns to be
a cut above the rest

Club Reporter
On March 3, the 4-H
group Grow ‘Em. and Show
‘Em had another meeting.
The group leaders Sue
Gibbs and Jennifer Wilson
showed members all the
wholesale and retail cuts in
beef, lamb and pig.
Members also learned
about byproducts that come
from livestock, including
rubber, manure, bone and
wool.
The club’s next meeting
is tentatively scheduled for
April 1.
