Nelson has released the
following report:
- C li f f o r d E u g e n e
Bradley, 47, was convicted
of one count of Possession
o f M e th am p h eta m in e,
a C lass C felony. The
defendant’s driver’s license
w as suspended for six
months and the defendant
sentenced to 18 months
su p e rv is e d p ro b a tio n ,
subject to 90 sanction units
and 30 jail units, to include
substance abuse evaluation,
mental health evaluation,
and 120 hours of community
service. Bradley was further
convicted of one count of
Crim inal Driving While
Suspended or Revoked,
a Class A misdemeanor;
sentence o f 180 days jail
time was suspended and
the defendant sentenced
to 24 m o n th s b e n c h
p ro b a tio n , to in c lu d e
40 hours o f com m unity
service. Additional counts
w ere disposed w ithout
conviction. Total fines,
fees and assessments were
$1,420.

Possession o f Marijuana,
a C lass B felony. The
defendant’s driver’s license
was suspended for six
months and the defendant
sentenced to 18 months

and 30 jail units, to include
substance abuse evaluation,
mental health evaluation,
and 60 hours of community
service. Schwabrow was
further convicted o f one
count o f P ossession o f
Methamphetamine, a Class
C felony. The defendant’s
d r i v e r ’s lic e n s e w as
suspended for six months
and the defendant sentenced
to 18 months supervised
probation, subject to 90
sanction units and 30 jail
units, to include substance
abuse evaluation, mental
h ealth ev alu atio n , and
60 hours o f com m unity
service. Fines, fees and
assessments totaled $ 1,646.

Report
Morrow County Justice of the Peace Ann Spicer has
released the following Justice Court report:
-Brenna Rietmann, 23, of lone was found guilty of
Violating the Basic Rule, 73/55, and fined $160.
-Willie Ray Drane, 61, of Heppner was found guilty
of Unlawful U-Turn and fined $160.

31:
-Morrow County Sheriff's
Department received report
o f a few black cows out
in Boardman. One subject
was given a verbal warning
for livestock at large in a
livestock district. She was
advised that if they were out
again, she would be cited.
-MCSO received report
of suspicious circumstances
with a male in a gray pickup
in H eppner o ffering to
sell and give away power
equipment.
-M C S O r e c e iv e d
report o f a pump stolen
from outside a residence in
Irrigon the previous week.
The house was vacant and
up for sale.
-MCSO deputy advised
he was handing out stuff to
kids in a public relations
campaign.
-MCSO deputy advised
of graffiti on a stop sign and
utility box in Irrigon.
-M C S O r e p o r t e d
receiving a busy 911 call
from an Irrigon number with
no answer on call backs.
W hen M CSO received
another call from an Irrigon
woman, she reported that
her child’s father took the
child and does not have the
proper car seat to secure
the child. She said the
car was a black Cadillac,
possibly a 2004 model, with
tinted windows. A deputy
contacted the reporter who
advised that the child was
at a sister’s house and the
vehicle was no longer of
interest.
-MCSO Sheriff advised
he w as at a school in
Irrigon for public relations
concerning Halloween.
-MCSO deputy advised
he was out with a disabled
v e h ic le on Hwy. 730,
Irrigon. The subjects had
a flat tire, but had help on
the way.
-MCSO received report
o f subjects looking for a
shooting range. They were
advised that they were on
private property and needed
permission. They were also
advised that MCSO has
a range and told to set up
an appointment to use the
range.
-MCSO received report
of a car swerving on 1-84
Boardman with the driver
possibly drunk or texting.
The caller was transferred
to OSP. A deputy checked
the area, but was unable to
locate anything.

November 1: Morrow
County S heriff’s Office
received report of a male
w ith chest pain having
tr o u b le b r e a th in g in
Irrigon. MCSO and Irrigon
Ambulance responded. One
patient was transported to
Good Shepherd Hospital in
Hermiston.
-MCSO received report
fro a subject in Irrigon that
the house behind them was
playing music really loudly.
A deputy responded and the
music was turned down.
-MCSO received report
o f a possible m inor-in-
possession party at Blake’s
Ranch, Heppner. A deputy
responded, but was unable
to locate a party.

911 call from a Boardman

someone was at his house
when the phone went dead.

-MCSO received report
of suspicious circumstances
at an Irrigon residence. The
caller advised that his friend
called the residence an said
that someone answered the
phone and then hung up, but
there was not supposed to
be anyone at the residence.
A deputy checked the place
and advised that it appeared
to be secure. They told the
caller to call back if they
noticed anything additional
disturbed.

of a truck all over the road
on 1-84 Boardman.
-MCSO received report
o f a scam from an Irrigon
woman.
-MCSO received report
o f an adult near a car on
1-84, Boardman, and a child
standing up and waving. A
deputy made contact and
the subject advised that a
tow truck was en route.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon man that
someone broke a window
in a house that he ones that
is empty at the time.
-MCSO received report
from Umatilla County 911
of a motor vehicle accident
on the 53 Road with a silver
Dodge pickup that had
rolled off the road. MCSO
was advised that the driver
of the vehicle had received
a ride into U kiah w ith
another subject. MCSO,
Heppner Fire Department
and Heppner Ambulance
responded. The ambulance
w as can celed p rio r to
arrival.
-MCSO received report
from an Irrigon woman
that she observed three
kids between the ages of
three and four playing in
the park. She advised the
parents were either not
home or were sleeping and
not watching the children. A
deputy responded and took
a report.
-MCSO received report
of an intoxicated driver in
his 50s just leaving from an
Irrigon location in an older
beat-up blue Ford Taurus
either headed to Hermiston
or to the co n v en ien ce
store in Irrig o n to get
more alcohol. A deputy
responded and located the
vehicle.

Jeffrey Robert Balster, 59,
for DUII with a BAC of .28.
He was cited and released.
He was also cited for No
O p erato r’s License and
Failure to Carry Proof of
Insurance.

request for an ambulance
for an 85-year-old female
with a leg injury in Heppner.

Morrow County Sheriff’s

by ambulance to Pioneer
Memorial Hospital.

of the smell of electrical and
drywall burning in the area.
Irrigon Fire Department
and M CSO resp o n d ed
and located a controlled
bum on Third Street. The
homeowner put the fire out.

request for extra patrol
in Irrigon with a vehicle
described as a dark blue
possible Jetta driving up
and down the road. MCSO
responded and was unable
to locate the vehicle.
-MCSO deputy advised
he gave a courtesy ride to an
intoxicated subject.
-MCSO received report
from a Heppner woman that
her son said that he heard
someone trying to get into
their window. A MCSO
deputy responded, but was
unable to locate anyone.

an Irrigon woman to advise
her of her options regarding
an in to x icated m ale at
her residence. A deputy
responded and advised her
of her options.

for a 50-year-old male in

Heppner holds alumni
basketball games
The H eppner b o y s’
basketball program hosted
the fourth annual “Alumni/
Spouse” basketball games
this past weekend. A total
of 14 women and 20 men
participated in the games.
In the women’s game
there were players who
ranged from some that
were on the 1986 State
Championship team all the
way up to some who just
graduated in the last two
years. It was a hard-fought
defensive battle that the
women took very seriously.
Many players were seen
diving on the floor for loose
balls. It was a high-quality
basketball game that even
saw some plays run that
players had run when they
were in high school here.
The white team ended up
beating the blue team by a
score of 42-34.

In an exciting men’s
game that saw the lead go
back and forth several times,
the blue team defeated the
white team by a score o f
86-85. An amazing display
of three-point shooting and
high-flying athleticism kept
the crowd on the edge of
their seats for the entire
game.

responded.

of a possible drunk driver
on I-84who had exited on
Paterson Ferry Rd., headed
southbound.
-MCSO received report

vehicle accident on 1-84.
The caller said that a pickup
with ladders and Idaho
plates had hit him. He said
that the other driver said he
was dozing off. A MCSO
deputy responded.
November 3: -MCSO
cited Roger Lee Campbell
Sr., 41, for Driving While
Suspended Violation.

Crossman, 59, was cited
by MCSO for Violating the
Basic Rule 72/55.
-A c a l l e r in th e
Lexington area reported
that a neighbor’s horses
were out on his pasture.
He d id n ’t know how
long they had been there;
they had gotten in before
and the caller didn’t feel
comfortable going to their
house to make contact with
them but he didn’t know
any other way to get ahold
of them. Usually they get
the horses out.
-A Heppner resident
called to report a missing
yellow lab.
-M C SO rece iv ed a
traffic complaint from a
driver coming in eastbound
on 1-84 of a red, possibly
Subaru, with Washington
plates travelling 70-80 mph
and weaving in and out
o f traffic. Caller thought
driver was on the phone;
could see the glow from
it in the vehicle. MCSO
deputy completed traffic
stop on the vehicle; driver
was given w arning for
speed 75/65 and warning
for failure to carry proof of
insurance.

arrested a 23-year-old male
for violation of a no-contact
order.
N o v e m b e r 4: -A
woman in Heppner advised
MCSO that her friend
met a male subject out of
Heppner online and she
was supposed to arrive
three days ago. Subject was
supposed to call her daily
and has not done so. She
is worried because she has
not heard from her friend;
fem ale is 60 years old.
Caller advised that she has
a 1995 vehicle of unknown
make, model or color. She
would like a deputy to do
a welfare check and then
contact her and advise her of
status. If no contact is made
she would like to know
more options. Contact was
made and female is fine; she
called her friend.
-A woman in Lexington
called MCSO to advise
that a male subject was
threatening others. Contact
was m ade; the subject
was fine and had not been
threatening anyone. Deputy
woke him up.
-A woman reported
possible animal neglect
in the Heppner area; two
horses were under weight
by 300-400 pounds.
-A woman in Heppner
called and reported that
she was being assaulted by
her 14-year-old daughter.

arrested a juvenile female
for Assault IV Misdemeanor
to be lodged at NORCOR
juvenile facility.
-A woman in Irrigon
reported that two subjects
wearing all black just forced
their way in the RV and
pointed a gun at her mother.
Caller reported they were
looking for another subject
and, when advised that the
subject does not live there,
they left. Caller identified
one of the subjects, who
was wearing a red bandana
over his face, and reported
that the other subject was
tall, skinny, with blonde
hair and had a mask over his
face and a backpack.
-A male in Heppner
reported an explosion and
fire from the power pole.
Heppner fire and Columbia
Basin Electric responded.

High School reported a
disturbance in front of the
school. A woman refused
to leave the prem ises;
had not been physical.
MGSO responded and
trespassed subject from the
high school; must contact
the high school for an
appointment if needed.
-A woman in Irrigon
stated that her daughter was
attacked by a dog. Daughter
hit her head on the cement
and the dog ripped her
pants and coat. Caller was
en route to location. She
declined medical for her
daughter, stating she would
take her daughter if she
needed medical attention. A
66-year-old male was cited
for Maintaining Dog as a
Public Nuisance.
November 5: -A man
in Lexington advised that
six horses were out again.
Owner was advised that if
they horses are out again,
he will be cited.
-MCSO received
a request from Gilliam
County for assistance in
finding a male subject in
lone who is a possible
suspect in a theft case.
-MCSO arrested
Gabriel Adrian Martinez,
23, on a Wa s hi ngt on
Co. warrants for Parole
Violation and post-prison
supervision warrant and
suspension order for Rape
II, no bail. Subject was
lodged at Umatilla County
Jail with no bail.
