Heppner boys take Hoop
classic from Cardinals in
hard-fought match
The young Heppner

basketball team continues
to play well and improve
as the season goes on.
They lost a close game
in Imbler last Tuesday,
but came back strong to
win the championship of
the Heppner Hoop Classic
played this weekend.
Against Imbler, the
Mustangs led after one
quarter of play 15-12.
They then trailed 27-22
at halftime. Strong play
and good shooting gave
the Mustangs their 40-39
lead after three quarters.
Heppner was then outscored
