To the Editor:
As our nation moves further away from its roots
and original intent, religious and political, we must be
alert. We must be alert by educating ourselves and wc
must be determined to stand for these foundational beliefs
and principles. God’s perfect and unchangeable Wore
says in part, "and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians
6:13). Let us take up the armor of God in face of preseni
and coming opposition. The Creche Festival has been one
such way of doing this. My appreciation to and support
for all those who have taken part.

Edda Mae Lovgren of Heppner found a pleasant surprise at her house following the recent
big snow and cold snap. A good Samaritan, who still remains anonymous, cleaned off her
sidewalks and the entry to her garage, for which she was very surprised and grateful.
Edda Mae says that it would have been difficult to leave her home without the kind
contribution.
