about Mom (Jean Bennett).
As most of you know Mom
fell on June 6 and hit her
head that caused extensive
brain dam age. She was
flown to OHSU where her
chances o f survival were
very slim. The next 40
days and 40 nights were a
nightmare for my family.
With the power of prayer
and Mom’s good living she
pulled through. Right now
Mom is in Heppner at the
Pioneer Memorial Hospital
in the Swingbed program.
She is doing so well, we
cannot believe it. She can
walk, talk, feed herself,
have conversations and
read. If she is tired then her
conversation drifts around
some, but considering all
that she has been through
her progress is truly a
miracle.
It is really hard to find
the words that explain
how overwhelming it is to
have so many people care.
People who have never even
met mom ask about her and
tell me that they pray every
day for her and my family.
Heppner, Lexington and
lone’s community “Prayer
Chains” are a very big part
of why mom is where she is
today. With the way Mom
is progressing it looks like
she will be able to go home
to the ranch sometime in
August. My family cannot
thank you enough for the
love and support we have
received from so many...
