Come on down and show the county what you’ve got at the Backyard Beef Cook-off sponsored
by MCGG and Painted Hills Natural Beef on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with set-up
beginning at 8 a.m.
Beef is provided but the grill and skills must be all yours.

Again this year the fair will hand out bracelets instead of
paper passes.
Hold on tight; it is more valuable this year than ever. Not
only will a fair admission bracelet get fairgoers into the entire
week of fun at the fair, but it also will be a ticket into the kick-off
concert featuring the Moco Boys and Blue Tattoo on Wednesday,
Aug. 14, in the rodeo arena.
