Rodeo Com m ittee continues
to o f fe r a o n e -o f - a - k in d
community rodeo for its youth
and alumni graduates in the
form o f the Morrow County
Jackpot Rodeo.
T h e o r ig i n a l M O C O
Rodeo w as held on Friday
night but. due to the abundance
o f local rodeo talent, the show
was moved to Sunday to offer
a full day o f rodeo after the
OTPR has ended. This is a very
special one-of-a-kind rodeo,
w here the sam e com m ittee
m em bers who have worked
tirelessly all week come back
out on Sunday just for Morrow
County kids and past alumni.
Morrow County cowboys
and cowgirls are well known
in the rodeo arena at all junior
and high school rodeos, as
well as college, amateur and
p ro fe ssio n a l ro d eo c irc u it
trails. These competitors have
traveled to many com ers o f
the United States and continue
to be true am b assad o rs o f
Morrow County.
“ A s th e y c h a s e th e ir
d r e a m s , w e s a lu te th e ir
accom plishm ents,” states a
-
committee member.
The MOCO Rodeo also
serves as a great little rodeo
alumni reunion.
T he s p o n s o rs h ip from
lo c a l b u s in e s s e s , p riv a te
individuals and ranchers is
greatly appreciated, giving all
participants a chance to win
num erous event buckles, a
saddle, and a day to remember
for their lifetime. It’s not geared
just for the kids or adults that
travel competitively in rodeo
all summer, but to anyone in
the county that wants to try to
ride a sheep, compete in the
stickhorse race, barrel race,
rope, or ride.

County resident for one year,
you are eligible to compete.
