On Palm Sunday, worship will be held at All Saints
beginning at 10 a.m. with palm branches, celebration of
the Lord’s Supper, and an interactive reading from the
Gospel of Luke. Monday through Wednesday, Compline
(prayer at the end of the day) will be offered at 5:30 pm
at All Saints.
On Maundy Thursday, worship will be held at Hope
beginning at 7 p.m., and will include foot washing, com
munion, and a light meal following the service. On Good
Friday at 7 p.m.. All Saints will have a Tenebrae Service
with scripture readings and growing darkness as candles
are extinguished in remembrance of the death of Jesus.
On Easter Sunday, a festive communion service
celebrating the resurrection will be held at Hope begin
ning at 10 a.m. Easter breakfast will be served at Hope
beginning at 8 a.m., following the community sunrise
service. Everyone is welcome to attend all shared min
istry activities.

Heppner FFA will hold
fundraising dinner
Friends o f the Hep
pner FFA are reminded to
mark their calendar for the
group’s spring fundraising
dinner. Plans are underway
for an evening filled with
great food, lots of fun and
entertainment.
The event will be held
April 4 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
at the Morrow County Fair
grounds Pavilion. The menu
will include Bar-be-cue ribs
baked potato, green salad,
homemade rolls and des
sert. The cost is: $12 pre
paid and $ 15 at the door for
adults and $8 prepaid and
$11 at the door. Children,
five and under, are free.
Music will be provided by
Joe Lindsay, a dessert auc
tion will be held and there
will be door prizes.
2013 Road Bowling, Winners: Even though the weather was
windy and cold with spits of snow, it didn’t keep the Road
Bowlers away from closing out the St. Patrick’s festivities
on Sunday. The youth took the award this year. “No Bowl”

who said her dog dug up
a deer pelvis and spine but
that she would like a deputy
to check it out to make
sure that’s what it was. The
deputy made contact and
confirmed it was an animal
bone.

from an Irrigon woman who
said her dog got beat up and
that there was blood and
raw shrimp - like someone
had tried to feed the dog
raw shrimp. She said she
went to work last night
and found the dog when
she returned. The woman
said she would like added
patrol in the area, especially
at night.

ceived a call from a woman
who said her two dogs dug
their way out of the yard.
One is a bull mastiff with a
black snout and the other is
a female pit bull. She called
later and reported the dogs
had been found.

from a Heppner subject that
he lost his three-ring binder
on Alfalfa St. in Heppner that
had his client information in it.
The reporter called and said he
found his notebook.

speeding, 76 mph in a 55
mph zone.
-MCSO received report
o f a black and white yearling
cow out on Hwy. 730, Irrigon.
It was determined in was in
Umatilla County, but a deputy
responded anyway. The own
ers were on the scene putting
the cattle back in.
-MCSO received report
o f a male in Irrigon having
cold sweats and not feeling
well. The caller said she was
not able to help him up and
out o f the bathroom. Irrigon
Ambulance was re-routed to
a priority call, so Boardman
Ambulance responded, offer
ing mutual aid.
