Parks committee to New 4-H club all
meet
about theater
The quarterly m eet­
ing of the Morrow County
Parks Committee will be
held April 22 from 1-2 p.m.
in the Sandhollow Room
at the Port of Morrow in
Boardman. This meeting
is being rescheduled from
the previous date of March
18 due to scheduling con­
flicts.
Agenda items include
reviewing and selecting
nom inations for vacant
positions (Boardman Parks
Dist., one position; Park
User group, one position;
Willow Creek Economic
Development, one posi­
tion; Irrigon Park District,
one position; and Morrow
County School Dist., one
position) and nominating
officers for the 2013-2014
year (chairman, currently
held by Betty Gray, Willow
Creek Park District Repre­
sentative; vice-chairman,
currently held by Thomas
Wolff, At Large R epre­
sentative; and secretary,
currently held by Kirsti
Cason, Morrow County
Public Works Dept. Repre­
sentative).
Anyone who has any
suggestions or topics for
the agenda for this meeting,
contact the committee so
the items can be added to
the agenda prior to meet­
ing.
A new 4-H club in South
Morrow County will be all
theater, start to finish.
Participants in the club
will be creating a play from
the very beginning to the
final performance.
The first few meetings
will be a collective gather­
ing o f creative thoughts,
which will begin the pro­
cess o f writing the play.
Once the play is written,
the club will begin casting
the play. The goal will be
to give a part to everyone
who wants to act in the
play. Practice will then be­
gin and everyone will help
