The Artifactory Holiday
Craft Fair for 2012 is over
and the Senior Center wants
to thank all of those who
helped make it a success.
It takes many volunteer
hours to put this together
each year and is the major
fund raiser for the Heppner
Senior Center.
F irs t th a n k you to
all o f the vendors who
participated in this event.
Without you there would
be no Artifactory! Thanks
to Pete Schwarzin, Gary
Jones, Dan Brosnan, Leland
Robison, Merle Cowett,
Mick Kendall and Tom
W ilson for m oving the
round tables and chairs out
of the dining room, setting
up the long tables for the
event and taking them down
afterwards. Thank you to
the Catholic Church for
the tables we borrowed
when»we had more vendors
than we had tables! Thank
you to John and Nancy
Gochnauer for preparing
and serving the food that
we sold and to Pete, Anna,
Gary and Frances for taking
the money. This is really
a joint effort o f all of the
Senior Board members in
the organization o f this
event. The board consists
o f Pete Schwarzin, Tom
W ilson, Judy B uschke,
Florene Robinson, Gary
Jones, John Gochnauer, and
Frances Dion.
We a p p r e c ia te th e
articles published in the
Gazette Times and East
Oregonian and the efforts
for her constant reminder
that the Artifactory was
coming up!
We sold raffle tickets on
2, 4 1/2 pound Prime Rib
Roasts and the w inners
were Diana Ball and Scott
Sherer. Congratulations!!
Thanks to all who bought
tickets for this raffle.
All in all this was the
m ost s u c c e s s fu l fund
raiser we have had and
God w illing we will do
this again next year, same
time, same place so mark
your calendars. The Senior
C enter and the vendors
a p p re c ia te th e p u b lic
support of this event.
