Information Workshop

Authority has awarded a
grant to the City of Irrigon
to conduct a groundwater
protection program. The
purpose of the program is
to help identify, predict,
and p re v e n t p o te n tia l
groundwater contamination
in the Irrigon area. As a
part o f this project, the
O regon D epartm ent o f
E nvironm ental Q uality
will be hosting a public
inform ation meeting on
November 8, at 6:00 pm.
The meeting will be held at
Stokes Landing Community
and Senior Center, 195 Opal
Place, Irrigon, Oregon. The
general public is invited to
this important program. The
meeting will be of particular
interest to persons living in

Irrigon.
