After Andrea’s car accident
last Friday, words can’t
truly express our gratitude
to be surrounded by so
many wonderful people in
our community. However,
we would like to try.
Along with gratitude to
God, whose protective hand
was evident on everyone
involved, we also want to
thank the first witnesses
on the scene, who stopped
to render aid and dial 911;
the EMTs, for their speed
and their professional and
compassionate care; The
Morrow County Sheriff’s
Office and Oregon State
Police, for their quick
response and expertise;
the doctor, nurses and
staff at Pioneer Memorial
Hospital’s ER, for their
calm skill—and humor—in
treating both drivers; our
many friends throughout
Heppner and South Morrow
County, who showed their
love and support in so very
many ways; and anyone
we may have overlooked
in the confusion o f the
moment. All of you made
a terrifying experience
bearable. We will never
forget the response by all
of you in the moment we
needed it most.
Gratefully,
Carmelo, Andrea, Moira
and Frank Di Salvo

We would like to say
a heartfelt thanks for all
the wonderful thoughts,
prayers, calls, cards, flowers
and visits to Virginia
Wilkinson. Special thanks
to Father Condon, Mary
Ann Elguezabal.and Pastor
Katy Anderson for going
the extra m iles to help
make the difference! We are
so blessed to live in such a
loving, caring community.
It takes truly special
people to make that kind
of effort. We are hoping for
Virginia to heal and come
back to the town and the
nice people she loves and
misses!
With love and gratitude,
Virginia, Dick, Pam and
Mark

I would like to express my
most sincere gratitude to
everyone who helped out
to make the 2012 Morrow
County Fair a success and
specifically on the 4-H
side of things. It would
be im possible to carry
out all of the events and
behind the scenes details
that are required to make
it through the fair without
all of the valuable work
from our outstanding
volunteers, and I would like
to recognize their efforts.
To all of our hardworking
and extremely dedicated
volunteers, leaders, parents,
youth, and anyone else
