tures o f your harvest, you
may get more than the market
price for your crop. The Wheat
League is again sponsoring its
harvest picture contest, with
cash prizes for first, second and
third place.
This contest is for adults
only. Participants may en­
ter two photos, but only one
will be judged. Winners will
compete at the state level for
the Wheat League and may
be chosen for advertisements
through Wheat League.
FIRST PRIZE = $35
SECOND PRIZE = $25
THIRD PRIZE = $15

loaf of bread, this year’s fair
will again feature a bread bak­
ing contest in his memory.
Mike, the father of Maggie
and Joe Armato, lived in Hep­
pner and was known for his ex­
pertise in baking and cooking.
especially Italian foods.
Bread entered in this con­
test may be of any style pre­
pared with yeast. Bread will
be judged on taste, appearance
and preparation technique.
