Your talent may not be
on that level , but Morrow
County contains a wide array
of talent; the Morrow County
Fair w.ants residents to come
and how off what they can
do. On Thursday, August 16,
county residents will have the
chance to come to the fair,
hare their talents and possibly
win money. The winners in
each group will be eligible to
go to the tate Fair.

in , a long-time fair exhibitor
and s upporter, the Morrow
County Fair Board again will
choose the Jane Rawlins Me-
morial Award for the Best Ar-
rangement at this year's fair.
Rawlin s exhibited in the
Flower Department for many
year , was a fair superinten-
dent, served on the fair com-
mittee, wa th e fir t woman
appointed to the fair board and
served many years as a merit
rater for the Oregon Fair s-
ociation and county fairs in
the state.

Once again, sweepstake
ribbons and gift certificates
will be available in the Open
Class department .
One sweepstakes ribbon
and gift certificate will be
awarded in every Open lass
department except I ivestock
and booth s. dult will re-
ceive a $25 gift certificate and
youth will receive a 15 gift
certificate.
Gift certificate will be
given by the Morrow County
Fair. They can be redeemed at
any Morrow ounty bu iness;
they are good until the end of
June.
4-H
volunteers
needed
The 4-H office is looking
for volunteers to help man their
fair office during the week of
fair. Pa t 4-H alumni, leaders,
parent or anyone who may be
interested and willing to help
out for an hour or two would
be greatly appreciated .
