2011-2012 Morrow County Fair & Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo Ambassadors
The Morrow County Fair
and Rodeo Ambassador pro­
gram is made up of Morrow
County high school age resi­
dents willing to promote and
participate in the Morrow
County Fair and Rodeo. Ac-
tivities the ambassadors will
take part in include parades
at county events, Chamber
of Commerce events, City
Council meetings, and com­
munity holiday events.
The 2012-2013 Morrow
County Fair and Rodeo Am­
bassadors include Tim Nel­
son, a junior at Heppner High
School. This is his second
year as an ambassador. He
plays football, wrestles, ro­
deos, and helps his family.

He has been in the Bamyard-
ers 4H group for the last six
years and in Heppner High
School FFA program for the
last five years. He enjoys
hunting, fishing, camping
and hanging with his family
and friends. Tim has partici­
pated in the Morrow County
Fair and Rodeo for the last
six years as a participant and
volunteer.
Our other ambassador is
Rachel Newport a sophomore
at Riverside High School.
This is Rachel’s first year as
an ambassador. Rachel is in­
volved with motocross, vol­
leyball, softball, and doing
stats for the wrestling team.
Last year was Rachel’s first
year showing at the Morrow
County Fair through the FFA
program at Irrigon Jr/Sr High
School. She enjoys spending
time with her family, friends,
and her animals.
The ambassadors hope to
see you at the Morrow Coun­
ty Fair and Rodeo August
15 - 19... Country Pride...
