Meet the fair board
M orrow C o u n ty ’s fa ir
board has worked hard again
this year to put together the 99th
Morrow County Fair.
Members include Shirley
Sweigart from Heppner, Tra­
vis Harrison from Lexington,
Cheryl Taylor from Boardman,
and Sylvia Sandford and Rod
Taylor from lone. They are
available if anyone has any
questions, but ask for patience.

The fair board also is in
need o f m em b ers; anyone
interested can contact the fair
office for information.

exhibit!
Are you anxious for the
2012 M orrow County Fair?
The fair superintendents are.
Once again, the fair super­
intendents will be anxiously
awaiting exhibitors on Monday
afternoon, August 13, from
1-8 p.m. to receive entries in
the fair.
Open Class fruits, veg­
etables and flowers will be
accepted on Monday from
4-8 p.m. and Tuesday morn­
ing from 8-1(1 a.ill.
This year, all Open Class
exhibits will be released on
Sun day m orn ing, A ugust
19, from 9-11 a.m ., at the
same time 4-H exhibits are
released.
If, for some reason, you
can’t make it on Sunday morn­
ing, the Fair Office will be
open Monday through Friday
the week following fair from
8 a.m. till noon and again from
1-5 p.m. for pick-up o f items.
After 30 days, those exhibits
that are left will become the
property of the Morrow County
Fair and may be discarded.

here is your chance. Ball and
